What about before last night? Like... all the other turns? I’m a tad worried about Devotary coming up with important info mostly out of the blue, but quiet!Devo isn’t that unusual.

Let us know if Sart clarifies. I'd rather not vote for Ventyl until that does happen. Books hasn't responded... hmm. @Burnt Spaghetti, anything of note on your end?

Uh, Mat... "here" is an error message. And we're back! Sort of. Still busy but not oh-I-have-literally-an-hour-of-free-time busy. So hopefully I can be helpful once I finish collapsing.

Mat, is your original reasoning for wanting to vote Liranil the fact they mentioned the tiebreaker, or is there something else that I'm not seeing? Because I think I'm standing by that that's the initial impression that Liranil got from MR47. And I don't see what else there is. Quinn: D1 Quinn had a lot of posts without a lot of analysis, mainly reacting to things. That seems like normal!Quinn to me... the massive posts of D2 do seem to be similar to when Elim!Quinn was up for the exe but I'm awful at telling V!Quinn and E!Quinn apart. Brighteyes: D1, RP and asked for a vote count with no reason. D2 reacted to 1-2 votes, thought that the Elim team was mostly being quiet, and then voted on me for quietness (uh... yeah. Should be talking more, but don't really have much of an opportunity to fix that today). I feel like BrightEyes' vote on me has merit from me being quiet and RPing, but they've... also been quiet and RPing. Blast it I'm out of time... lunch turned that hour into half an hour. BrightEyes. I'd rather not have Quinn die when from what I can see her suspicion is mainly from... her stance on Liranil? No not that, something D1 that I don't have time to go and find- aaaaaaaah. Unless someone has a question of me in the next 5 minutes that's my last post for the cycle.

I feel like sponges and magnets form two entirely different metaphors, but I can't for the life of me think of the difference. As I mentioned in the MR, I got quite swamped the last two days and will be similarly busy for most of today. But rollover isn't for a while so I should be fine to catch up this evening/tomorrow.

I... really overestimated the amount of time I had this week. I got swamped with school the last two days, and now I have literally one free hour from now until rollover. Where I need to eat lunch. Plus of the time I have I'd rather devote it to the LG in C5 than the MR in C2. So I have... not really been keeping up with the thread. I'll do my best to get a vote out but if that hour disappears I'm not going to guess-vote. This evening should be less busy? I'll get something out there.

TJ already had a map? I used my map, and based on the number of Valuable items I assume that TJ used one as well. This feels like a double-map-drop. Idea: have Ventyl and only Ventyl grab the Book of Revocation. That should at least keep the Elims from gaining another stealing specialization. (I could go for it too but... uh... I'm busy ) I'd probably be willing to vote out any of Striker, Gears, or Ventyl, but first: @Flyingbooks, what have you been doing actionwise?

Ventyl claimed to have started with Revocation. I don’t know if Archer’s passed it around but I doubt it. Also, my action last turn is accounted for (even though there was a rather large whoops in that... all turned out alright though). ... you’re talking about TUO, not Striker losing the Clock. Oh well.

If TUO claimed it, I'm fairly certain he would grab it and then immediately put it back in the pile upon execution. May have gone for it just to maybe kill Alv, but it's still missing. (Still not saying if there was vote manip. Noooope.)

I guess the difference would be "could be partners" vs "are partners". So... not much. It just seems different than prior mostly-individualistic D1s.
-
Genuine question: when people are saying "e/e pairs", do you mean you think both individuals are evil or that if one is evil, the other is likely evil as well? Because to me it feels... very early to start that. Maybe it's just a way of building connections but I don't get it.

I'm pretty sure the Doctor Doc (heh) is Anonymous. Whether that means a Doctor can hide by not saying anything or not, I'm not sure, but I don't think we'll learn identities. At the very least we learn how many talking docs there are. ... there are far too many puns and proto-puns here...
-
... well, I am still quite swamped today. I'll see what I can do. Straw does like to keep roles rather... tight? I wouldn't be that surprised if some are missing entirely; Doctors probably exist, but others like the Aviar Holder or Security Officer might have only one or even zero copies. I highly doubt it's role madness, especially with the level of impact sabotages can have. On TUO vs Liranil: I will say this: Liranil's first game was MR47, where ties did kill everyone and that fact was used to great effect by the Elim team. So I do think Liranil's worry about tiebreaks at least has a basis. But no vote manip this game and randomized ties means that tiebreaks are much less necessary... to me a different part of this feels odd, but not so much the tie part. Not sure quite where TUO came from - I feel like a gut is good enough for D1 even if the timing is off, but at the same time he came back with a very small amount of reasoning that would be easy to narrow down in the OP... Aaaaaaargh I'm just sticking with my non-interference for C1. ... "Apologies, my friend," AraRaash said with a slightly crooked smile. "I'm a little... disjointed by this world. View of the sea, and all. But yes, we do run into each other with unusual... frequency." He was almost certain Philico wasn't another Harbinger. He wasn't supposed to talk about it. But... Philico was one of the individuals he ran across with unusual frequency. Like the others. Lafay. Rinala. Dazrion. Even Hadrian, on occasion. It made him wonder. "It is rather late to talk, unfortunately. To make matters worse, there's no bar aboard this stinking vessel. Truly lamentable." AraRaash... Faleast whispered. Well, just because he wasn't supposed to talk about it didn't mean he couldn't... hint.

I think Kas’s point is that your main contribution is defending yourself, and you generally sit on the sidelines otherwise. Which tends to be considered suspicious iirc. Any main thoughts on the game? Gears vs Unknown Order? Item suggestions?

I'm gonna be a bit busy today, so I probably won't post (much) here until this evening. That being said, I'll up the pressure on The Unknown Order. @The Unknown Order, any suspicions to share besides following Gears onto Striker? Any reason we should avoid killing you? Any reason you've forgotten to use the map so many times?

Well, we got items, so Random must have used their map. Unless Archer did. (Are you planning to use that today, Archer?) Slightly concerned that Unknown Order forgot to put in their Map action but... uh... I'm not one to talk I think Connie did join some of the trains not on Gears, but I'll have to go back and look. Rather busy today/tomorrow.

First of the Bone started tying a rope around what looked like a mizzen-mast. He wasn't really sure if it was or why he needed a rope around it, but that's what the captain told him to do. It wasn't like the entire operation would collapse because of a rusting rope, now, would it? The knot came undone. Blast. AraRaash wiped the hair out from his eyes. For this journey, he'd chosen something a bit different. Still Faleast's face - he'd noticed a certain insect crawling aboard and wanted to make a good impression - but other than that, he had gone wild. Black hair down past his ears almost to his neck, well-tanned skin, Alethi-dark eyes, a stubble beard around his mouth and chin with shaved cheeks, a faded red shirt, off white shorts, and a nice pair of leather boots. No hat - that would have been overdoing it - but he looked quite the part of a grizzled sailor. Squawk. Oh, and the bird. AraRaash's red Aviar swooped around, landing on the side of the mast and pecking at the rope. He hadn't managed to get it to land on his shoulder yet - that would be both over-pirate-like and inconvenient, if rather flashy - but it always stayed nearby, doing whatever it was it did. He'd gotten it back on Patji, where it had decided to follow him around and do absolutely nothing. It was evidentially a "Good-Looking" Aviar, which apparently made people... more good-looking? Faleast thought it had some form of Soothing behavior that made people more willing to like a person. AraRaash thought that was boring. Mainly because the captain had refused to let him "borrow" the airship when he asked both with and without the Aviar. But, it fit the part. He finished tying the knot, making sure it was secure in both places. Now that he could see it, it looked like a good way to have a backup. Tie it to the airbag above them all, and it would hang loose enough not to pull the gas bag too taut, but also provide a backup if a rope snapped. Airship problems, he gessed. AraRaash had been on ships before. He'd been on a rusting spaceship before, and that had been quite an adventure. But up there where the Ones Above roamed, it was easy to forget that you weren't in a building with gravity and running water and windows and everything. It was so... smooth. A lot of running around fixing doors and occasionally getting ejected into outer space, but overall it was relaxing. Faleast liked relaxing. He groaned on and on about being too old and to let his old bones rest for a while. Well, Faleast was... what, a hundred now? Time travel makes keeping track of birthdays so difficult. But in any case Faleast had nothing on AraRaash and his bones. Although technically they were wearing Faleast's bones today. Dahkor would draw too much attention in Drominidad. I don't think that's how it's spelled, Faleast's voice mumbled. Oh, now you speak up. An internal monologue needs no spell-checker, rebuffed AraRaash. Where was he. Oh, right. Piracy. Ships. You see, spaceships were relaxing. AraRaash didn't like relaxing. AraRaash wanted adventure. He wanted to explore the Pantheon, to maybe find another set of Aviar or learn some new skills. Oh, and serve Lamentation, may He somehow use AraRaash tying ropes to further His almighty goals. But AraRaash... he had his own plans. He was here to be a pirate. Unfortunately, people tended to frown upon pirates. Too many people simply hated when people took the things they'd rightfully stolen. So AraRaash thought. He could steal some of the Aviar. Or simply catch some when they got to the Pantheon. Or perhaps even find the perpendicularity on Patji. Having some of Autonomy in him would be an adventure. He was still thinking when something caught his eye. A little bug, on the railing of the deck. "Ahoy there, Philico!" he said, stretching his arms and flashing a smile. "I see that you've been busy?" @Matrim's Dice

I don't do subtlety very well, I'm afraid. I'll take a look at Connie tomorrow (meaning tomorrow day, not tomorrow turn).
