  1. I think my problem with the Szeth train is like, yes, this is true, but it also was true in the LG he just flipped village in so I’m having a hard time deciding if there’s a difference.
  2. Oh did I do a pronoun oopsie Also Madagascar Edit: Just saw your point on Fadran, and I disagree with him being opportunistic— he had a poke vote on me and then a vote on Szeth cause xino’s his pal. Neither of those votes are like, great or anything, but intention wise I think they’re what he says they are. That’s some gut from knowing him outside of SE, and otherwise just tone reading. But if you think e!me reads a teammate as my only decent D1 village read you don’t know my elim meta :P.
  3. There’s only so far I’ll accept that answer It becomes avoiding talking about reads before too long. Strongest village read at the moment would be Fadran, actually— he to me reads like someone who has his own agenda and no known teammates, he feels like he’s doing his own thing in a v type way. I totally buy the reason he voted Szeth :P.
  4. Shhhhhhhh context is everything :P. I’d be careful giving village points to someone for knowing a detail about elim mechanics that we all missed :P. I guess you could say that xino didn’t have to point that out, which would be fair I suppose. xino’s original tally had us voting for Madagascar, but it was on the same line as the Szeth votes. Szeth’s use of poke votes has been weird, but I don’t really see that as evil per se. A situation where he voted and then quickly hopped off (like xino, actually) could be e/e but I kinda doubt xino/Szeth is e/e here Just based on their interactions, the way the votes were moving, etc. Between the two I’d vote xino I think since he really didn’t show up until he was threatened but once he was threatened he showed up immediately. I’ll refrain from doing that right now though since I don’t really love the option. Don’t love Madagascar either though, he responded to my pressure by not responding to it which is ? to me. There’s some potential for the xino/Szeth trains to have sprung up to save him but idk if that timing works. Also don’t want to kill a returning player D1 :P. So that vote will eventually move in all likelihood.
  5. I would read that as null but the abundance of edits gives me a bad feeling :P. Edit: Actually though I’d lean more v Szeth on that but I’d have to check if they’ve posted things like that as elim before. Draws the wrong kind of attention for if it were a real claim I think. Would appreciate other views though. Edit 2: Like if they had left it without the edits I probably would have just village read it but the edits give a sense of urgency to making the obvious joke even more obvious, which is unnecessary imo. I don’t like the ‘why did I post this’ specifically, tone wise. But idk.
  6. Hi I promise I’m still here. Was traveling yesterday and am kinda sick today but I think I can manage a post… I don’t think anyone would be sad about that Though I don’t think the game mechanics allow for you to vig both Sith by N2, unfortunately. “A threat!” Smarts noted. “Ha! I could dismantle you before you could send a distress signal, droid. But here.” Smarts pulled out of his chest pocket a card, showing it to the droid. On the card was a dated picture of Smarts and his name. Nickname, anyway. Oh gosh, don’t tempt me >> If I were to mention paranoia, though, it’d wouldn’t be on Drake, but Devo, for the repeated mentioning of the elim manip. Though it reminds me of during my BT when she kept mentioning how disadvantaged she thought the TDs were, and she wasn’t one of them. Hael made his appearance among the meatbags, so I’ll change course and add some pressure to Madagascar. (Also, to our lovely GM— as great as it was to have a VC fitting the RP formula, I failed to make sense of it without checking the player list five or so times, so may I request for you to include side-by-side with it one that has usernames, in future counts? )
  7. The drunkard fell over and Smarts raised an eyebrow, setting down the piece of the droid he’d been repairing. He hobbled over to the fallen man and lifted him up, giving him a good shake. He wasn’t very heavy, but Smarts’ arms were strong from years of pounding and screwing. While some technicians avoiding anything besides a simple fix job, Smarts was a craftsman. ”Hey, anyone in there?” he said. “That plan sounds pretty interesting; do you have any thoughts about the other people here?”
  8. I guess I should poke Hael. Though I can’t tell you why or there wouldn’t be a point to it
  9. You don’t need to use quotes for OoC talk here But yes. LG78 I think…? Set in BotW.
  10. I just meant that the elims don’t have to get parity or outnumber like normal— just kill the two Jedi Knights.
  11. To be fair, 22% is still a bit low for the 1/4 rule, but yeah there is the modified wincon. I should check the Zelda game’s elim distribution since I think they only had to kill Zelda to win, and iirc they had a normal ish sized team. I’d probably lean four elims total but I could see three. Edit: Zelda game was kill Zelda and Link to win automatically, kill one to win at parity. Elims won with a 24% starting ratio by killing Zelda and Link both, and it went nine cycles so I think it was balanced alright. So I’m sticking with four as my guess. Granted that game had Alv as Link who wiped almost the entire elim team off the map but hey this game has Alv too
  12. RP to come later, as I want to bounce off someone who knows the setting better than I do so I don’t want to go first And Smarts left, so I even have an in-world excuse. Just reread the rules again, may have to do that frequently but that’s fine :P. Are we thinking two Cultists or one, plus the two evil Jedi?
  13. Good luck I GMd my first game during Ookla Season for some reason so I’m sure you will manage
  14. It’s an abbreviation that basically just means ‘uncaring’ or otherwise uninterested. ‘Don’t give a crap’ basically
  15. I came to solidify that train and just get the flip but I hope you stay, actually. Bookwyrm You’re right that it doesn’t feel great though.
  16. I kinda want to solidify Bookwyrm myself after xino made it closer. I got twenty minutes ish to decide before I go to bed :P.
