I get that and I respect that— I hope you know that any mischaracterization was unintentional I’m planning on like hard resetting tomorrow to clear my head and get more reads overall. Less than it was before JNV made their case, lol. Kinda hovering in negative but I feel guilty about it for some reason, like they shouldn’t be. What’s that supposed to mean >> Like an in thread one?

Kindly avoid suspecting me for voicing an unpopular opinion thanks I’m well aware of what I said and I’m well aware of Kas’ post he put in response to Dannex last LG, that’s why I said I trust we’d get e!Kas later. I felt a bit alarmed when I asked everyone why they v read him and got that answer; I wasn’t really surprised but was hoping it was something else, and I viewed those v reads as more the ‘long posts = v’ kind as opposed to the ‘I know Kas’ meta real well’ kind based off who was reading him that way. I ask everyone refrains from commenting about me not wanting to effort clear Kas, that’s not a discussion I want to have. I’m fine to let this go as I do trust y’all not to blindly follow that read. Feels like by mentioning those reads I set a bomb off in the thread and I don’t get that but whatever, moving past it. I should reconsider my own read anyway. Part of holding onto it is that the reaction it gets is e reads on me and I think that’s dumb and I want to prove a point but that in itself is a bad reason and it won’t do any good if Kas is v Thanks for the tie rant Kas, btw

Guys, don’t effort clear Kas, I will link a game if you want >> If we’re real I’m probably the one who’s wrong but I’m not about to just be like ‘this checks out with v!Kas’ because of course it does, Kas is a good player :P. I do think he’s catchable later but I have full confidence in his D1 capability to have played that as elim.

Can everyone who put Kas as the strongest v try to convince me of that? Just checking that it isn’t an automatic effort clear.

Off the top of my head in this moment JNV Stick Szeth But I’d need to reread to affirm those. The people I most want to get a read on is Stick and Alv. JNV, Archer, and turtle have more or less convinced me they’re village, but those reads are more or less based on one post. Still tunneled on Kas and I don’t think we should forget about Bookwyrm.

Seconding Kas by asking you: What do you think we would have gained with the tie? What did you gain from trying to tie it? I think there are things to be gained from a close vote but y'all hyperfocused on it so much that analysis went out the window. Analysis should go side-by-side with a close vote, and it really didn't.

I think there’s e/e potential between them and Insanity, and that their early voting early on looks bad. I do agree with Kas about the exe being too bad to be right, to an extent, but that doesn’t change that of the three options for the exe the one I was v reading the most was the one that died

Told you Wiz was a bad kill. Was there a reason people voted him besides ties? And like, can we avoid that being the only reason in the future? Thanks much >> Chantara’s vote definitely makes me squint, but I totally could see newer me doing that, so who knows. I think this is a game where flipping the countertrains to Wiz will be helpful— because of the number of people who wanted ties, if the countertrains are villagers, elims are more likely among the people who tried to tie it.

I get the reason, I just think it’s more useful leading up to EoD as opposed to actually going through. Which I guess right now isn’t a problem. But I’m signing off, keeping my vote. I hope Kas stops self voting and that you guys get an elim @Kasimir— the Shaman just gets a list of who has the blades but not specifically which, iirc. So all they’d be able to tell is a pool of people the manip is in.

And I confess I sort of agree, I specifically dodged mentioning Bookwyrm in my ‘catch-up’ post because a decent chunk of my vote there was to see if Elk would switch or not (essentially checking for e/e, you can also see that I tagged Elk in that post) but he never showed and I’m out of time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Bookwyrm Szeth Of the current options this is my favorite. If Cash became a wagon I wouldn’t be sad, same with Elk. I saw later that this was sorta invalidated by the discovery of Alv’s sus, but I guess more than anything else I find it interesting you want me to consider e!Archer for the same reason I considered e!you. If your point is ‘if one, why not the other’, then wouldn’t that just make you evil? :P. Kas, I didn’t stop to think about plausibility because I was typing down thoughts as they came while on mobile and multitasking :P. But I’m certain there are other explanations. Not really interested in taking this discussion further.

I don’t have time to respond to you properly, but I’ll say that like, no, but who isn’t LHF at this point. I think you’re overestimating your own ability to affect another player’s choices, but idk. And I think assuming that because I don’t agree that your voting of Wiz is only explainable by one thing, I must be evil, is unfair. I’m not the same person as you. But I do have to go.

I don’t think e!you has to have voted Wiz because his ML is essential, there’s plenty of reasons to change a vote. Maybe you didn’t want to hang around on a low poster all alone. Maybe you wanted to have a presence on a main train. Maybe you did want to move it away from teammate Bookwyrm, and hadn’t addressed it earlier because you wanted to be unlinked and we’re hoping it’d go away. I don’t necessarily think you are paired, but I don’t think you can say that e!you wouldn’t let e!Book get sussed as it’s not really your choice if people suspect him. Edit: And maybe you’re a villager, I’m not discounting that, believe me :P. That Cash vote. Much eh. What’s your reason for voting Alv? @Cash67

I read it, and I saw the part about his engagement being different, but in my opinion activity and engagement can be affected by alignment, but is more often affected by other circumstance (see: me right now) and so I hesitate to use it as its own case. That’s why I said your progression seemed like it was directed. It felt like you either decided to vote Wiz and then found a reason, or decided to reuse past arguments like you did with saying I felt reactive.

The last time this happened was e!TUN, so it depends on whether that would make him want to do it more or less the next time he was elim. I’m not sure which but I do think that v!TUN probably wouldn’t self vote. This is all irrelevant of course.
