    Oh wait did I just not read Archer's post lol sorry for repeating his question :P. Trying to decide whether I think Striker's role and use of the role makes me lean either alignment on him. I think if he'd just used it easily that'd be village sided but wasn't his last post lamenting that he couldn't take it off? Like he was worried about the 1/3 chance of it picking his teammate to add a vote onto? But we wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I guess he was lamenting because he thought he'd be dead and that the info he'd get would be wasted, which seems village to me. But then why not fast-type 'the extra vote on D2 is a villager!' instead of what he did, which was cryptically say 'i can get alignment info' with no further context? I should stop thinking about this lol Edit: @StrikerEZ why only tell us one of your roles?

    Huh. If I were to guess, I'd say it's just a mechanic with the removal. Like, when you get voted out, you 'die' as far as numbers are concerned but can still talk in the thread.

    Please tell me you didn't still think Toucan was Wyrm xD I definitely didn't think they were Stick, though. So good job there. TJ, too-- did not see that at all. Glad I guessed Shining right, though.

    Tbh I think Striker ghosts EoD right now regardless of his alignment for IRL reasons, like Bip was only here for a second to say she wasn't

    I guess I’d be fine with that, but in the same way I’m fine with Shining or Ash. Like the reason to vote there is that there’s a lack of substance from them, but I prefer to exe based on substance, if that makes sense. It’s why I keep saying those are elim reads but I stay on Walin, who I’m voting more for what he did than what he didn’t do. Ngl I kinda want to switch to Striker just because of that Devo post

    This seems like you want the tie to be broken but don’t want to do it yourself Speaking the Walin train, I’m slightly shrug about it at this point. But I‘m equally shrug on Striker, so speaking of ties, it’s time to summon my inner Alv for this one. Unless Ash becomes an option somehow :P.

    Aman’s point I think is that right now there’s no difference between unvoting and not unvoting If Wiz becomes a main contender I’m really gonna actually have to iso him aren’t I I’ll see about that, in half an hour

    Oookay three more pages is cool Skimmed them all and it just seems like more Aman discussion and role thoughts, yeah? Idk if I have anything to add which is good since I’m on break and don’t have time to add anything. I will say though that for as much as Orlok is saying Aman is soaking up too much discussion and it’s bad, he hasn’t really done much but focus on Aman. Which I suppose could prove his point but it’s the same kind of deal that I think the Striker train was partially based on. Will be back in twoish hours. I would like less than that amount of new pages, please :3

    C1 xD so he was village for 24 hours and elim for 96. My point there was less the conversion and more that it was his first game though.

    Did that game really never get an aftermath? Man. I’m not sure how much I want to compare those since I converted him in his first game, which is a special case. To me there are like two playstyles most people have, the active one and the passive one, and there are v and e variants of both.

    This has been bugging me ever since I finished tLM— how are Shai and Kaise still alive? Hoid’s long life being extended via Dawnshard spirit web stuff makes sense, but these two don’t have anything like that as far as I can think of. I suppose this would also apply to Baon/Demoux/Galloran as well. Am I missing something; is there even an explanation?

    Fair, but by definition a poke vote has nothing to explain away. A prod could, but those ask more for your reads than a counter-argument. Okay, yeah, fair :P. I had no clue where I would have gone, that's why it stayed. But I guess I can see, how from your PoV, it'd have looked strange and worthy of a comment. Yeah, that's kind of my point You're usually more active but you're mostly just vibing. I think dannex gets more of a pass since the level of posting he isn't doing is more normal, imo, but to me that just looks like you're trying to deflect my attention off you onto him. If you want a detailed v case you're gonna be disappointed :P. It's more just vibes than anything else. And the way she sorta has just been commenting on random things feels genuine to me. What about that is incongruous with D1? It might be incongruous with your own opinion, but that's not the same thing I was thinking, like, bread rolls :P. Ok I need to get to the bottom of why I'm paranoiding so hard on you because I can't vote the same train as you with good conscience unless I figure out if this is anything xD That's... kinda where I'm at. I guess my pause here though would be, other roles had things to do with trolling, right? So like, he didn't make that up as a mechanic. He has, I've been elim with him before Striker and Tess' most recent starship game. I also have some recollection of mega-tunneling on him and being vindicated for it in a seperate game. I'll stay on Walin, for now. Side-eyeing Stick a little bit for not consolidating like she said she wanted, but I do approve of the Shining pressure, so whatever :P.

    I didn't think anything of it tbh cause Araris claiming to have a porch role seemed NAI to me. Course, at that point I didn't know trolling was a mechanic and it seems like it has higher potential to actually be a real claim. I think it could have been a real claim since Araris (of either alignment) wouldn't know Aman was planning on revealing trolling is actually a thing, and so he'd assume he could get away with a comment like that. I feel like it's more village than elim but it's hard to say when this is two layers deep in hypotheticals anyway I kind of agree, like to me it feels like Shining isn't really putting as much effort in actually playing the game as he usually does. I actually feel the same about Ash, now that I think about it. What about him made you put him in village? What's that supposed to mean xD Like is that not just the reason it would be true? Occam's Razor and all that jazz. I might agree with you about Wiz. That's a tomorrow!Mat problem though :D. Few questions-- Why does a prod/poke vote deserve a rebuttal, in your opinion? (General question) Why does my vote in particular deserve a rebuttal, since I specifically mentioned how my early negative gut ping was based on false pretenses? (Specific question) If you don't really have a rebuttal at all, why bother posting something pretending to be one? (Question so that I can say 'few' instead of 'couple') Ironically, I think the amount of words in that post did give me a more solid e read of you. Your post seems self aware in a very elim way to me; specifically the phrases like 'I don't know if it actually exists either' (talking about Aman's claimed role) or the paragraphs of self-analyzing your unvote and the sentences of talking about your hypothetical leading trains.     I mean, in theory it’s the same as any other game: We vote out our suspicions and look for connections that may link teammates. The obvious difference being those connections are a lot harder to trust when we don’t know for certain if they’re real. I’ve played two: one on the Shard, one offsite. The one on the shard was won by a neutral SK (so yes, even though Aman’s fine to live now don’t think that’s always a guarantee) but the village was winning before that happened (???) The offsite one was virtually a village sweep. Four elims and the village won in five turns. So it’s definitely possible. It kinda begs the question of how strong we think the elim team is, which is normally a D1 topic of discussion and it’s kinda weird we never got there. Ninjad x4 but I’m on mobile and they’re on the next page so I’ll just post and hope I’m not repeating words
