Philico scoffed, but mentally. No need to insult the man, but he'd need a lot more information than that. There were probably dozens of teenage girls in Elendel, and an equally abundant number of men wearing red. Besides, Philico doubted the man wore only red. Unless he was the Assassin in White of Elendel. But with red. Anyway, Philico would need to invest more time in this is he truly planned to help. He walked forward, solidifying his right arm so that it could be grasped without attracting suspicion, and held it out to the man to help him up. The man behind him, the annoying one, was still there. Philico was uncomfortable with the man staring at him. And there was still the silent man in the shadows, the wounded man's friend. @Vapor

Sigh. The tag 'what did you expect to happen' seems appropriate here. Gears... why. This strat has had a 100% you dying rate, and you continue it with a role that directly harms the village upon death? Well. No point in complaining now that you're dead. But do consider a different strategy, please. Anyway, if we don't trust the distribution enough to talk about suspicions during the night turns... what do we do?

The man spoke again. Philico realized he'd have to get used to that. Did he? His hordelings could search an area much faster than a human could. "Yes" he found himself saying. What are you doing? Do you not care to preserve your secret? "But I'm afraid it would be difficult to do right now. Who is missing?" Philico glanced uncomfortably at the man standing over the bloodied one. He still hadn't said a word.
-
The bloodied man started mumbling about... Connection and Fortune? This man was invested? Maybe that was how he had survived. But why did he... For a moment, Philico forgot about the annoyance of a man behind him. What had he stumbled into? The mysterious man on the ground said a name, and for the first time Philico noticed a second form in the shadows of the alley. Philico cleared his 'throat'. "Hello?" he said, stepping forward. "What happened? Is there anything I can do to help?" He knew he should turn and run, continue on towards the Perpendicularity, but he didn't. For some strange reason, he didn't.
-
"So, how's your day going?" Philico couldn't tell if this was a sudden change of mood, or a way to mock. He didn't really care, and ignored the man. There, he thought. An alley. By an apartment building. Philico veered that way, and entered the alley. And stopped short. Kneeling inside, cradling his head, was a man. Crusted blood was on his head. It pooled around him. A gun rested on the pavement, barrel smoking. Philico stepped back, horrified. @Frustration
-
Philico growled with his newly made voicebox. He wanted to turn around and slug the man, or dissolve into little bits and shock him nigh to death when the cremlings skittered up his legs, eating at his clothes, digging in his flesh... But no. That wouldn't help him with anything. He needed to find the Perpendicularity and get back to Roshar, get back to the others. Not make a spectacle out here on another planet. That would surely attract Harmony's attention, and no doubt he would recognize Philico's kind. That would be worse than arriving late to Aimia. So he just walked a little faster, pushing through the crowds of people. I need to find an alleyway. A way to ditch this insolent man.
-
The man grabbed Philico's makeshift shoulder- Storms! Philico twisted out of the man's grip before the grip felt the hordelings. He found himself face to face with the man, in the middle of this bustling city. "Just what do you want?" Philico blinked at the forward question. This man was of the Dustbringer or Willshaper type, most men would ignore a passerby. Quickly, he formed a voice box, and spoke in a voice that was male, and slightly scratchy. Not his best, but acceptable in a pinch. "Good man, I simply do not have the patience to deal with you. I'm going somewhere, and am on a time constraint." He turned away, hoping the man didn't reengage.
-
Following his own consciousness, Philico was led to a city. Elendel. He thought, recognizing the skyline. I'm on Scadrial. Well, that was problematic. He walked through the streets, avoiding eye contact with the humans. He hardly trusted his own facial skills. Best to avoid all contact. In front of him, a man stepped out of the shadows of the alleyway and started walking, right in front of Philico. He snorted. Who was he? @Experience

Philico internally groaned, waking up. Where was he? His pieces hurt, each individual one in a blinding pain. He lifted his head up- if it could be called that- and looked across his form. Not knowing where he was, the legs were probably a good thing. Adventuring the cosmere did have its drawbacks. He stood up, and ruffled the cloak he didn't recognize over his body and pulling the hood over the lump of his head. Water. He needed water. Philico looked around, examining the landscape. He listened to the parts of him that were afar, and headed towards the ones that spoke of water. A brook, small and gurgling. It would do. On his way he had to cross some thick brush, but it would be worth it. Upon reaching the stream, he lifted his hands, which he had perfected on his walk, and took the hood off his head. He knelt down and looked into the water at his reflection. Stormfather. He thought. It is a good thing I ventured out here. He had tried to guess an approximation of the human face, but it was... complicated. He knew what one looked like, but wasn't quite experienced enough to create a believable one without a reference point, such as his reflection. The face that stared back at him was almost human, but the eyes were the wrong shape and in the wrong place, the nose was far too small, and the ears too pointy. He sat working for a few minutes, and before long Philico could pass as human. And well for it; he had no idea where he was. A mental signal arrived, and Philico stood up, alert. One of his pieces had found something. Humans! He headed that way. Get information, get out. That was what he did best. Learn where he was, learn where to go to leave, and hopefully return to Roshar before the other noticed he wasn't on the planet anymore. Oh, the stories he'd have if he was found out...

Geez, right when I think it's quiet enough to write up something. Thanks, guys... Couple of things: First, a village adjudicator isn't useless. If they have a reason to fundamentally disagree with the lynch, they could stop a mislynch. It might not be the most useful role, but no role is nearly useless. Second, you kept your vote on Lotus despite being proven wrong, and still didn't remove it even though you said you didn't think Lotus is an elim. I get we need a lynch for PM's, and I get an adjudicator isn't the mostest of hepfullest roles... but voting out the players we think are elims is kinda the point. (This had me ready to put my vote on you, but ninjas.) Saying you're willing to switch off sounds like an easy way out to me. And finally, don't be surprised that you get voted out D1 for claiming elim, as previously stated. See, now that you've switched off I feel like I shouldn't vote on you yet. Sigh. This makes absolutely no sense to me. Absolutely no sense. no sense. none. But it doesn't. I'd having a very difficult time discerning where this came from. That last point is a good one. Though, Lotus could have claimed because she wanted protection (as previously stated), or like she said, just... read the rules wrong, or both. Sometimes strategies do form later than RP posts, but that last point is a good one... Or she lied about being the Adjudicator altogether, but I don't know what she'd be covering up if that was the case. I believe Elk thinks this. Well, now I'm back on finding Gears suspicious. The flip-flopping is odd, but I still can't get over Gears supporting a lynch he views to be on a villager, reinstated by his switch back. Statistically, on D1, yes, the lynch will probably be a mislynch, but still. Voting on people we find suspicious is the point. You should have some sort of thinking that Lotus is an elim to support this lynch. I'll tie it by voting Gears. Honestly, I am seeing good arguments for both Gears and Lotus being elims, so it's not super set in stone. PM's aren't looking very likely right now, but if one lynch gains clear favor in everyone else's eyes I'll probably move over (or stay) to get them. I don't have enough of a preference over Gears/Lotus to avoid PM's.

I got a notification that you mentioned me in this topic. I am confused and while I am in the SE crew (and I technically did join the discord) I don't think that tag actually summons the entire SE crew

If we dare to stray into IKYK territory, it's possible elim!Lotus saw the discussion on an elim adjudicator and claimed, thinking there's no way they're gonna think an elim adjudicator claimed after that. But that's pretty specific. I think that's what Gears and maybe Illwei are leaning more towards, which makes Illwei's current vote on Gears interesting as I think they are agreeing on Gears' vote on Lotus. I'm not sure how I view that, I'm probably more on the less aggressive side of Gears' thinking, if there are no other good options, yes we should have a unified lynch and yes, lynching an adjudicator would have some benefits to it. But I'll keep my vote for now @TJ Shade, any thoughts on the current situation? You posted some earlier in the turn and have now vanished. Sorry if you had said you were gonna be less active this game or this turn specifically and I forgot.

I'll start by saying that you can with that plus button by the quote one. I discovered this last game and it was like Why didn't I know this existed before. Other than my slight/gut village on Elk and Gears? Not really. I'd say the only person who's done anything I'd consider suspicious is Kings_way, and I'm actually just thinking that's more new-playery than elimy. Thoughts on Lotus below. I'd agree that lynching Lotus because we're afraid of an elim adjudicator is a bad idea. But if there really are no other options it has some benefits, and there'd always be the analysis of who pushed their lynch and who didn't depending on her flip. But I'd lean on not at the moment. Still, claiming that isn't really helpful. @Lotus, what made you claim?

As far as I can recall, a poke vote (or at least the kind I use D1) is used only to generate activity. Mine did its job: Tagging you, and then when you showed up the vote served no purpose as I was decently sure you wouldn't just RP and go inactive. Hmm, mind telling us what? Just fine if you'd like to keep that info, though. So.... uh... @Gears, @TJ Shade, how do you view the elim!adjudicator now?
