Ah, ok. Philico was used to being in multiple places at once- it was rare if he wasn't- but he typically focused the bulk of his consciousness on imputing and focusing on a single group of hordelings. He definitely had the capacity for controlling both one hundred percent, but most days it was just easier not to. Today was not one of those days. He discussed with the others in low voices, simultaneously speeding down Scadian roads. Half of him stuck, half of him free. Philico thought it was quite poetic. The part of him that was outside the city split off even further, offering even more input. Those hordelings didn't have standard 'eyes', instead feeling with their legs and sensing small vibrations. They didn't need eyes to see, even if eyes were more organic. The lack of visual details actually helped Phiilco focus, though he was nowhere near the point where he needed to reel back in. Centuries of practice with the horde granted near limitless control. Philico was one of the strange ones for staying so knit together most of the time, not spreading himself out over the face of the world. It was interesting, he had tried that once and found it boring. He'd much rather be in human form, interacting with others and doing his research. But sometimes he needed at least part of him to be free.

Suspicious of the late voters of TJ, especially Devo/Books who I was side-eyeing anyway. No clue why Szeth voted there. The vote off Biplet is... concerning.

...Hmm. I didn't want to do TJ or Ash because I had just enough of a paranoid village read on both of them to not vote either when they were up, but I think I'll let Szeth_Pancakes go for today and vote Biplet. I'm probably more sure about Szeth but I'm apparently alone in that and I'd rather my vote mean something.

I didn't think it was Alright. I guess the devil's advocate here would be pointing out that Ash was elim in that game (assuming you're referencing the one I ran), so the sudden behavior change could be reflected by a sudden alignment change. I sort of don't elim read him by default because I know he wasn't trying to disguise saving a teammate, but you guys can't really share that :P. Yeah, I'll agree with that. I'm mostly vil reading you anyway so that's not a problem for me After only two days, Philico could tell this wasn't going to work. Being locked down in a city full of paranoid politicians and showy rebels? No thanks. Everyone was holding their abilities to their chests- understandably- so the bit of research he had hoped to do here on the unique blurred lines of the various Investiture levels looked to largely be for naught. At least for a little while, and he wasn't jumping at the thought of twiddling his thumbs until then. Maybe he was feeling particularly impatient this week, but he needed a break. Philico supposed it also could just be his inborn reaction against the rules, and, well, he'd never been very good at coloring inside the lines. Lucky for him, a few new laws and guards and the like were rather redundant for keeping him chained. Philico had an edge these Scadrians likely didn't know existed- or he'd be very surprised if they did, and it took a lot to surprise him these days. He'd seen more than anyone here, except maybe one. A few dozen hordelings were dispatched within minutes of his decision, blending in with the dust and dirt on the ground, heading for the border of the city. Philico could have eyes everywhere- it was time he put them to use.

I guess the thing I'm hung up on about Ash is that I can't see any reason elim!Ash would cast a vote with the specific intention of saving me, outside of causing confusion I guess. I could say the same about anyone that voted to save me though :P. I find it interesting TJ cited this as his reason to vote Ash: When he did like the exact same thing, and like Araris mentioned, TJ's vote was the one that actually broke the tie. I guess the difference is that TJ was more open about it, but I could see Ash voting to further avoid a tie especially in a role madness game. TJ inadvertently pointed out that the only time Ash has actively made ties was as an elim. So I can see where Archer's vote is coming from, considering that TJ was the one to actually break the tie and there isn't really a major difference between his vote and Ash's. The other thing I'm confused about is all my village reads attacking each other, but there's not much I can do about that I sort of want to duck out of dealing with it altogether and just stay in my nice little @Szeth_Pancakes tunnel but if no one else wants to go there that probably isn't the best choice.

Already did, and I'll stay there for now. Szeth hasn't even shown up yet... actually, this cycle seems much too quiet considering three very low posters were killed. It shouldn't be any slower, but it's like just four/five people. But no, I'm not really willing to join you on Drake or think that you've gone off your rocker; for the most part I'm reading your interaction as v/v. I'm with you on Ventyl and Bip mostly but am also confused about your read of TJ. Have you mentioned that before, and what is it based off? Curious about my two top village reads that ended up on your elim reads, really You already know my more detailed thoughts on the people you mentioned.

But seriously, I've said this before (and now TJ has as well). I play pretty much the same way in both alignments, or I try to. Ah, ok. That makes sense.

This reads like a really weird point to me because there was kind of a very large difference between us last cycle- I actually had votes and was up for the exe, while you did not. I'm pretty sure it had little to do with me personally and just that I was actually active, and Exp wasn't. I realize later you disagree that there was a difference, but I see this as a sizeable one. Which again, I think it was less that people were reading me village and more simply that I was active. ^^^ The other points Drake made are more valid than this one, but I swear I have memories of Ash actively avoiding ties like this. That's contrary to what TJ said last turn, so now I don't know. ...Isn't 'attempts to preserve a player of unknown alignment' literally what you do every time you're defending someone, ever? Why, legitimately curious. I mean like if it was a one-shot killer, right? I think that might have been based on spectating one of the MU Champs games (forget which one) where their meta was 100% the vig claims immediately after they shoot but idk. It is a good point that they might want to wait until they're being sussed though lol The difference is it would definitively clear them, which is a benefit. But I agree with them waiting until they're sussed. Couldn't it be the same one? Hypothetically, of course. ...Yeah, I guess. But the benefits of the pocketing the alternative would accomplish are rather large.

I could join if you need me to. If you weigh it fine to proceed without me that'd probably be better for my schedule, but this game isn't too complicated and I could manage if necessary.

...Anyone want to claim that Lotus kill? If you're the Coinshot please don't but a Hemalurgist might consider doing that as it would clear you. I'm assuming the 3 kills were Coinshot/Elim/Hemalurgist since 2 Coinshots doesn't seem likely to me. Or maybe the Kandra had a one time kill idk. It's hard to tell which kill was the elim kill because they both could easily be low-info. I'd probably guess Azmine for the elim kill just because that would be the option of the two that is strictly strictly low info cause Azmine was fully inactive. As far as those roles go I guess it could be a lot worse... I had to check what Hazekiller did (and Lotus' Twinborn powers) and as far as roles we could have lost those aren't terrible. The Pulsar ability had the later potential to troll and the Pinnacle could have got the elims some safer kills later so that's a good kill, whoever it was. Also, unrelated: You'll regret that You know who you are Szeth, for aforementioned reasons and all that. I don't think his claim overrides my read. Overall I don't think the deaths changed my reads all that much seeing as all three of those were in the middle of my Null pile :P.

Philico led the boy through the streets, winding his way towards the market- the non-shady kind. He took out a few boxings he had to spare; although he technically could form some from hordelings he didn't think that would be kind to the salesperson. He shouldn't rip them off, not when they were likely struggling financially right now anyway. He purchased a small loaf of bread, one that no doubt looked like a bar of gold to the boy, and handed it to him. To the lad's credit, he didn't run away right then as Philico had been half expecting him to do. The boy looked up with shining eyes, as if the bread really were made of gold. "I didn't think you'd actually do it." He said, in awe. Philico smiled. "I'm no liar. I hope you are the same way." The boy sighed, reluctant to give up what he likely viewed as the last thing that was truly his own. But he eventually gave in, feeling the need to repay the debt. "Flynn." Philico clapped a hand on the small figure's back, shadowed buildings blocking the light from illuminating his face. "Well, Flynn, we should get back to your alleyway. It's getting dark out, and the streets aren't safe right now." Flynn kicked some dust as they started to walk. "They never are." Philico thought back to how quickly the group earlier today had been willing to take Zara's life. Without a proper trial at all. "Especially now."

Not a Soother. Either the/a Soother decided it was worth making sure I was kept around, or one of the people voting me has a Feruchemical role that cancels a vote :P. I don't follow this sentence, sorry Changed my mind because Drake was being villagery in thread and my original suspicion stemmed off of PMs.

Mood. The funniest thing about me forgetting about these is that I was literally one of those in the original run of this game; I was a Sparker. Araris' post is why I village read him atm. Don't see an elim arguing for something like that, though I gotta admit if anyone were to it'd be Araris :P. If GM stands for god masters, are we the gods? And alright. I already checked your posts for white text, but I'll keep looking *is paranoid he didn't check hard enough* PMs was what got my Szeth suspicion started. In a similar vein to how my suspicion on you started, actually, Szeth just gave me other reasons to continue that line of suspicion. Though since I'm guessing it was something similar I can see how it would work for you two For me it's like the same kind of read as you and TJ for me. Not really an village read for effort, but for village-seeming content and comments. Though it was a long time ago (relative to the game, that is) that I read his post and he still hasn't said anything in awhile which is kind of weird for him. But like for everyone else who wants to ask me about my reads- I know I've explained them all somewhere, likely in this turn's thread. Szeth basically asked me about all of them. And even before that- it's not like I posted the rainbow out of the blue. None of those placements really should have surprised anyone. [Chronologically, the following RP takes place during the Day, picking up where my last one left off] Philico regulated his breathing, trying to keep calm and think through this rationally. The boy to his left couldn't be Peter; Peter would be... long, long dead by now. But in human years Philico should be dead, and AraRaash... Philico didn't even want to guess at the kandra's biological age. It was too much to hope that Peter wasn't human, and something that was definitely laughable. Philico had known the boy better than anyone, and he had been as genuine as anyone Philico had ever met. Still, the resemblance gave Philico an instant soft spot for the lad. Not thinking about how potentially strange it would be for the boy, Philico turned and walked slowly into the alleyway, crouching down next to the boy, who didn't so much as move his head, or even move. It was as if he were sleeping, or dead. "What do you want?" Ah, you are in there somewhere. "I don't want anything from you, unless your name counts." Philico stuck out his hand. "I'm Phil." The boy looked up at Philico, still not moving his head. "That's a dumb name." Philico stood up, disappointed. Peter had instantly been open, which is how their friendship was actually started. "It was nice to meet you too." He turned to go. "Wait." The boy suddenly said. Philico looked back. "I'll tell you if you get me food." Philico smiled. "I think I can manage that."
