  1. Craven awoke, sliding out of bed. It had been a rather uneventful few weeks, but he supposed that was his fault. After the attack, he hadn't been feeling as adventurous as he had been before. It wasn't that he was scared, though. Craven didn't get scared. As he walked through the camp, he heard some raised voices and a few crashes from a nearby building, and- as if to reaffirm his lack of cowardice- headed straight for the source of the noise. If he wanted to make a difference in the Fellowship he needed to shout with the rest of the grown-ups. He was pretty sure that was how it worked.
  2. @Fifth Scholar (Also top of the QF list) @Sart @Ventyl @Straw @Ashbringer Then TJ, Ash again, Maill, wilson/El, and Mist.
  3. Ok if anyone actually cares about reading this I moved it (poorly formatted) to my About Me, that's where it'll be from now on. Course I'm the only one following this thread but hey if you wanna read what I wrote then I won't question it, though I'll wonder
  4. Fair enough I guess. Though it also was a poke, the one on you. I’m really kicking myself for not staying on TUO but I mean it didn’t end up mattering :P. Yes I’d like to ask the Honests what their tells were (besides Araris), I’m genuinely curious. Thanks for running this Lotus, you did a great job. I had fun even though I died early Edit: Looks like the elims RNGd really bad Honest role reveals. Yikes.
  5. I technically could do it if I pushed signups off until Saturday, but if someone above me wants the spot they’re more than welcome to have it.
  6. Oh the things you find while digging into old threads

If you don’t care about the MBTI personality types then you can ignore this SU but if you’re like me than that post I linked will be something you enjoy

Also I just had to say somewhere that it makes me irrationally happy to have the same type as Adolin

    1. Spren of Kindness

      Spren of Kindness

      Oh, I remember that!

    2. Condensation

      Condensation

Ohmygosh I'm the same as Dalinar!

Or at least... I was last time I took the test. I have this weird thing where every time I take it I get something different.

  7. Geez Thanks for thinking of me! That’s how you gotta look at it, right?
  8. Double posting but I don’t care because I beat the Path of Pain!! It seriously took me 6 hours across 2.5 days and was pretty much as bad as I thought it’d be. Charms were Hiveblood/Grubsong/Longnail/Quick Slash/Voidheart The only thing that kept me going was that with each attempt I could see myself progressing. The difference between dying here and dying there was actually really motivating because it was visual proof that I actually could do it. The reward itself is a bit disappointing but the satisfaction is enough of a reward by itself
  9. And it sounds to me like you agree with it
  10. TUO immediately dropping the vote when I pointed it out is interesting. I think I’m also fine with Elan, but I’m a weird way because those are contradictory reads.
  11. I think I feel the best about TUO right now but I’m having a unique game where I’m village reading pretty much everyone. TUO jumped onto whichever train was poked at the start and hasn’t budged which could be an elim just chilling and I guess that’s good enough for me right now.
  12. Can you really blame me? A bit more specific than that, but yeah
  13. Yeah, of course I’ll say it once you die and flip evil, even Course rethinking it I’m like 90% sure it’s just a Striker tell and not a Honest tell.
  14. Funny, I think you’re Honest and that I’ve discovered your tell That of course would make you evil based on the content of the posts with said theoretical tell, but I’m hesitant to vote you for it because I might be wrong since it’s something you probably do to some extent anyway, and it’s happened at least twice already and I feel like an elim Honest would avoid lying if possible. No, I’m not telling you, that’s for you to wonder
  15. Tbh I’m not following the Kas/Drake back and forth so if there’s something important in there I should know you might need to spell it out more :P.
  16. I’m saying a Lucky role only makes sense for the elims if they also have a Clever. Not individually.
  17. I… did? I mean I said the joke about my username but that’s NAI. Legitimately no clue what you mean here. I think you think other people soft things when they don’t a lot And I don’t think very many people notice your softs. I certainly don’t.
  18. Archer isn’t suspicious but also no one is.
  19. Ah, ok. Thanks! My first attempt I made it to when the floor started getting spiked in half and glowing balls were being shot at me, but idk how far along that is Edit: I DID IT
  20. I beat all the dream bosses- Failed Champion was actually the hardest for me. I one-shot Soul Tyrant somehow… Grey Prince Zote was kinda dumb but it was a bit easier than FC for me I think… Lost Kin was dumb until I equipped Grimmchild to take care of the infection floating things and then it was a piece of cake. I’m waiting to fight Grimm until I have all the Unbreakable charms because I don’t want to accidentally banish the Troupe :P. Encountering the Massive Moss Charger late game and killing it with 3 spells and two nail hits was probably my favorite thing ever xD I beat Crystal Guardian on my first attempt too (Not Enraged though, not even close) and Hive Knight. Hiveblood saved my White Palace run, and now that I have Void Heart I’m back in the black egg- I got the ending where And am working on fighting the Radiance now. I’m very happy that the Hollow Knight isn’t even a hard boss to one attempt now
  21. Typing this on mobile and I’ve never done a post like this before so don’t give me grief if the formatting is weird With 11 players, I’d guess a three person team. Something weird could potentially be happening but I’ll get into that later. First the roles/cards. Cheater: I assume Cheaters are told the three random cards they can pick from. To me this seems like a more village role because of the types of cards themselves- a free shot at a Shardblade or RB/manip/protect cards each turn sounds too OP for the elims, in my opinion. Though I suppose they have that anyway with the drawing of cards, but they don’t need the extra help. Honest: Different from some of the roles in that it has a downside, which is interesting as I don’t think it’s especially strong. This is a role I wouldn’t be surprised if it belonged to an elim, due to the dynamic that would cause. The irony of the Cheater leaning village and the Honest leaning elim doesn’t escape me either Lucky: Prefacing this by saying I, Mat Cauthon, definitely have this role But in all seriousness, this one’s pretty simple. I’d lean more like I did with the Cheater in that I don’t think the elims need the extra help getting cards, but I think this one is more likely to be evil than Cheater. RNG plays a gigantic role in this game which will no doubt prove to be interesting. Guard Captain: Ello, Kas The dice seem to have once again put us in a place where shuffle squatting is only natural, because I have no clue if I think this role is village. I’m leaning that if only because I don’t think a 3 person GC team makes sense, or a 2 person GC team either (with the former being the more likely if the two imo) and the fact that you’re auto outed will likely make us more hesitant to exe you in the first place. @Lotus, I assume the GC still dies to the first kill they come in contact with, outside of the exe? Clever: This is definitely a more elim role, the most out of all of them I think. I could see a Clever/Lucky elim team being balanced, with the third being vanilla. Though I don’t think there’s only one of each role (except GC) and I bet there’s a village of each. The cards are RNGd, so there’s less to say. Spears: 1 essentially is a trade off, since you lose the card when you play it, though it can be used strategically. 2 specifically is a card block so it doesn’t stop role actions. Guards: @Lotus, are these cards passive? Pens: Never seen 1’s mechanic, which is cool. 2 is pretty standard. If only one Pen card is played per turn we’ll be able to tell which one it was but any more than that and it’ll be a lot harder. Swords: This is the Clever role without the downside. Shardblade: May RNG not let the elims get this card… now that I’m thinking about it I could see a 2p GC elim team, only because of this card. I still think three is more likely though. @Lotus do the elims win at parity, or do they have to outnumber? Soulcaster: The use of this one ends up being personal preference. Elims and villagers likely will use it differently. Miscellaneous: As I said earlier, RNG plays a major role in this game. Stay on your toes Remember that ties kill both players involved. Gostan, somewhat resembling a certain Disney character, stared blankly at his cards. He didn’t much know what they meant but one thing was for sure- they made for a terrible mirror. He ruffled his shiny black hair with his free hand, floofing it up as high as he could manage. Guard duty was a pain, but at least it gave him time to put his appearance in tip-top shape. When Gostan finished with his hair, he peered over his cards at Karnan, the Captain. What made him so qualified? Gostan thought he should be the one to have the power that position held. After all, he was the only one he knew he could trust with it. Plus, there was the rumor that the Captain’s sleeping quarters were better than Gostan’s barracks. He was dying to discover if that was true.
