Nothing wrong with asking someone to follow you, though it is a bit frowned upon. You can follow them and hope they reciprocate, I guess but calling them out like this and putting them in a difficult position if they say no is a bit much.

Somebody actually do it? I never realize, that you can ask someone for following you.... Though, that doesn't make any sense for me. Having followers isn't as important as making people really like you.
