  1. Granted, one Brave Little Pterodactyl coming up! Wait... that joke doesn't work on a computer. Anyway, I wish for an A on my history midterm.
  2. Goosen!! *Ahem* Sorry, had something in my throat there.
  3. *whispers into trench-coat* guys common, we can’t let them know that we’re secretly birds! What’s the worst thing to say when you accidentally eat all of your siblings leftovers? Actually what’s the best thing to say? Because I seem to have done just that and I need advice.
  4. You can say Fred is a hunger spren and boom tada its cosmere related!
  5. Nahhhhhhh. hmmm that's odd, it smells like somethings burning. wai- The person below me is forgetting something... but they cant remember what...
  6. uhhhhhhhh Love sees not with the eyes, but with the mind. And therefore winged cupid is painted blind. that's my favorite and only quote I know of Shakespeare. oh and also What, you egg?
  7. When I'm reading at night and my house is totally and completely silent and I get lost in the pages.
  8. When you cant fall asleep because you're stressed so then you're stressed because you cant fall asleep but then you cant fall asleep because you're stressed again.
  9. “Sooooo you want to know who my crush is huh?” yeah I got everything on the list! That... was on the list right?
  10. “It’s a pretty standard city, but it looks abandoned. There’s some of those old Jumbotron's and signs. It also looks like there’s some security cameras in the nearby store front.”
  11. When Harmony caught up, an odd look was on her face. “Just being safe. You should be able to walk up to me, just stay behind me.” Hentient said, picking up another rock. They were getting close to the buildings now. Hentient tapped her ear piece, “Um, so, hi then.” She said “Harmony and I... We found some buildings that should work pretty well. Oh, this is Hentient by the way... um. Over?”
  12. While Hentient waited for Harmony, she examined the buildings. She was hesitant to get closer in case there were traps hidden in the ruins. You never knew these days. Hentient pulled a piece of lined paper out of her bag and read it quickly, then placed it back inside her messenger bag. She bent down, picked up a rock, and threw it about three feet in front of her. Nothing happened. Carefully she stepped where the rock had landed, and repeated the process. It was slow going, but it would make sure she didn’t step on any epic-enhanced land mine or spring trap. And it gave Harmony some time to catch up.
  13. 'Okay, nevermind. I think I just need some water." Hentient took a sip from the bottle in her bag. "Common, we should hurry to the buildings. Race ya!" She took off, running toward the buildings. Word to the wise she thought, running in jeans is not fun. She pulled up about a quarter mile from the buildings to catch her breath. @Condensation
  14. I don’t really have good reasons but here are mine: 1. Kaladin 2. Renarin 3. Rysn
  15. Okay, I just saw it. AHHHHHHHHH it was so amazing!!!! I cant get over the casting. Literally every actor was perfect for their character in my opinion. I definitely need to see it again, but I feel like that's a given. I think I like it better then Inception or Interstellar. I'm going to be thinking about this movie for weeks. the coolest thing for me was: There are a lot of things I don't understand (Obviously). The biggest thing though, is: why are inverted wounds so dangerous?

    Vin

This is amazing. That's actually exactly how I imagine Vin.
  17. Hello! You absolutely posted this right. Sanderson Elimination (as far as I know) is a Cosmere version of Mafia, but I don't play it so I'm not quite sure how it works. Anyway, Welcome!! whats your favorite Sanderson book?
  18. When someone else replies to your post with the perfect sentence.
  19. When i'm hanging up clothes and I get just the right number of hangers. *Chefs kiss*
  20. Here’s another good one, if anyone’s interested @Gears recommended it to me and now I’m obsessed. Magnus archives!! It’s a horror podcast and it tells individual “ghost” story type things, but it does have a metaplot (which is really really cool) And I’d totally recommend it!
  21. Well, I joined the shard for pretty much the same reason as everyone else. I love Brandon Sanderson, but Its also a place where I can obsess over the Cosmere and not get weird looks Because none of us can see each other Because we are all obsessed. Reading/debating theories is so much more fun when everyone knows what you're talking about! I joined at the beginning of Quarantine, so the shard pretty much got me through all of that. Its been so cool to talk to people who share my obsession, and actually know things without me having to explain it for 3 hours and then scare them off with the incoherent noises that I may or may not make when talking about SA. My favorite part of the shard is the theorizing! I pretty much said it already, but theorizing about the cosmere with people who already know about the cosmere is amazing. And I love piecing things together, Like a giant puzzle, even though the theory, whatever it is, has a 1% chance of actually happening, Its fun to run with things. Like pretty much everyone else that's holding back on prerelease chapters, I cant wait for RoW to come out so I can participate in those things again! And to the Staff of The Shard. I don't know if any for you will read this, but thank you. Thank you for keeping this such an amazing place to be, and so welcoming. I know there's a lot you all do behind the scenes, so thank you for everything!! You are all such amazing people, and I hope you can still enjoy being a Sanderson fan. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!
  22. Hello!! Id totally recommend the reckoners next time you're looking for a book to read (They are my favorite of the YA books). How were you first introduced to Sanderson?
  23. Huh I read the first book. This is the very first (And only) book that I literally threw across the room when I found out- well you know. Its been a couple years though, I might give it another shot. I Literally don't remember anything except for the- But i've heard the series is good. I'm working up the courage to reread it. I have no Idea where my copy is though. I think I stuffed it away in some dark corner of my storage closet as a way to cope.
