Long Game 72: The Secret of Shinovar
ShrubSeph replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
"OOOOH SECRETS!" Velton-son-Hasweth yelled out, reading the report of the invasion determined to take the honorblades. "Sign me up! I want to help root out the stonewalkers." I'm signing up as Velton-son-Hasweth, an energetic scholar with a tendency to RP instead of normal posting.- 1329 replies

Sigh. I knew there was some explanation that I was missing.

TLR can only scan once every 2 cycles. This makes me very suspicious of Danex, and means you are probably Elim aligned Lord Ruler. I don't think Somebody from Sel is an elim, at least not just from Danex's defense of them.

I thought you were pocketing Fadran up until that.(Flamel said, obviously still speaking and RP'ing)

Flamel had been on a business meeting, but he arrived back in Luthadel to see the corpse of an inquisitor tossed into a canal. I'm glad that everyone else is better at reads than me. He decided to stop that line of thinking before it got too meta. He looked through the records of the previous day, and saw that Noorden, Kriti, Jes, and Vapor were the last to vote. This had multiple implications, as they could have been waiting to appear cooperative with the general crowd, or they could have been reluctant to lynch their Inquisitor ally. Of course, it was most likely that not al of them were inquisitors, as they all had been informed that there were less inquisitors then there had been in the past, due to new advancements in Hemalurgy. Flamel moved to explain this to the crowd, and was glad to see that TJ also agreed, and had cast his vote on Kriti. Flamel followed suit, deciding that it was best to vote the same and stack their votes. Ghanderflaffle

If you're village. If you're an elim, feel free to forget to do your action, especially the NK.

I think 2 is the most likely, out of sheer probability, but I get that it doesn't make much sense for the elim's not to NK reading again in the second case.

Well, the only thing that made me hesitate from voting him was his newness, so...

I'm voting Fadran, because I definitely don't think we should kill Gears yet.

I don't really think turtle was lying, 8 was just pointing out a technicality in Danex's statement that someone "here" was lying. Although, as I'm writing this, I just noticed that eltruT is actually viewing this thread, so Danex is actually right.

Well, Turtle could have been the one lying, although I don't really see what the point would be in that. But yeah, your probably right. I think I trust Quinn more, though that could just be because they were an elim last game.

Rythm of war had it's own forums for sample chapters and discussion while it's recent, but what about sample chapters for other books? I assume if you put it in the tags or title it would be okay, but I was wondering what the policy is. Specifically I'm thinking of Skyward three, but this might apply to other things as well.

Actually, TLR aligned last cycle (it was in the previous writeup, pg. 16 of the main thread(16!))

Off course, there is no way to confirm this, as TLR would show up the same way to a scan. (since their role is alignment specific)

Same here, unfortunately. I probably won't read it for a while, at least not until I read Dawnshard. A lot of these late votes on Turtle seem a little bandwagony, since unless there is a massive switch in votes, they don't effect anything. It's definitely suspicious how they changed the chain, but I don't think theres even a point to voting now.

Alright, i've finally skimmed over the backlog. That took a long time. I don't really understand the Turtle votes, most of them seem like jumping on a train to me. I don't really think Gears is elim, though I did get a PM saying they were roleblocked. I don't really like the PM chain, but I will keep that in mind for later. Right now I am most suspicious of Ghanderflaffle. It seemed like they were pocketing Fadran, and their earlier posts seemed off. Of course, you probably shouldn't listen much to what I say, as I am really bad at this. Last game I played, I only had a strong village read on one person, and they were an elim. (Cough Matrim cough)

It's an alignment scan. The rolescan is the canton of Orthodoxy I think it would be more suspicious if they hopped off once other people did.

I don't think TLR has a rolescan, just alignment. I'm not sure what the points are against Ventyl, but maybe I just need to read over the last pages more in-depth.

Is this a poke? I'm assuming so, but it is worded strangely. Edit: never mind. Ninja'd
