    Jay drapes Aryanna's arm over Janice. "Help her get out, I'm going to go find the others. Meet me at the statues out front of the first headmasters."

    He looks back at Eris, who's pulling herself out of a crater in the wall. "We don't have the firepower to deal with these things. We need to get out of here." He picks her up. "Janice, can you walk?" He ignores the shards as they hit his Veil, still trying to strike Cadenza. Oddly, it seems less like he's going for a kill and more just like he's trying to draw blood.

    Alvyer really wanted to study the rope. And the strange human apparently remembering old magics. But... there were things outside that looked like they wanted to destroy things, which meant he really needed to get out of here first. He drew his pistol and pointed it at the executor-figure. "Don't come any closer!" @kenod

    Silence evades one of the sword swings, but has to take the other with her Veil. The impact makes her stumble and slip on the ice. The man goes flying across the hall. Azrael strikes at Cadenza from behind Jay manages to extricate himself from Eris, and blasts her into a wall with the rest of the force he has stored up. He falls and his Veil almost falters when he hits the ground. "Aryanna, are you ok?"

    Jay grapples at Eris, forcing her to let go of Janice to block his strikes. He gives Janice and Aryanna a shove, trusting that their Veils will break the 20 or so foot fall. He and Eris trade blows in mid air, he's grabbing onto her to stay aloft.

    Azrael blocks both blows with his sword, and braces himself against the door frame so he doesn't slip on the ice. He hisses. "You are incredibly annoying." In the room behind him, Silence comes out of a door with an unconscious man under her arm. "We got him, let's get out of here." "All right, you grab Janice, ok?" Jay launches both of them downwards, straight at Eris and Janice.

    I still think that the head of a giant radioactive manatee is an accurate description of a sunrise.

    "Hold on." Jay grabs Aryanna and then uses the force he has stored up to launch them up in the air. They reach the top of their arc just above Eris

    "Mmmm, no." Eris unfurls her wings and in the same motion, feathers come off and fly at Aryanna at high speed. Eris takes off, burdened slightly by carrying Janice but still making headway upwards. Jay comes to a stop next to Aryanna. "We've got to stop her. How are you in the air?" @Vapor

    I don't usually comment on the AMA forum, but I like to look and see what other people are doing. Guess I'll take the plunge Ask me anything

    "Now now, we don't want anyone to get hurt. Because it probably won't be me." Eris grabs Janice's wrist and tries to pull away the knife. Silence, the girl who was able to reverse Lloyd's fear attack, is caught off guard, but her Veil protects her from the hit. She says "I'd love to deal with you, but we have someone to find. Adrian, keep this hero busy." Inside the room, there are a few students who are cowering under tables or sobbing in the corner. "Where's your headmaster?" She asks all of them. Azrael takes off his hood, revealing a scale covered face and fangs. "Gladly" He pulls out his strange, hooked sword and lunges for Lloyd.

    Vale puts his hand to his head. "Oh, what now? A temporal distortion? Do we have the Lord Ruler coming to..." he looks up and sees Hiiri. "Oh, it's... probably not someone trying to kill us."

    Eris cackles as she knocks Tarao aside and picks up Janice carefully. "Don't worry, dear, you're safe with me." Jay's still pretty far away. He shouts "Put her down!" The two run up the stairs and into the hallway where teams stay in between matches and overnight. You can hear Silence say "In here, there's people in here" and they burst through a door, provoking a chorus of shouts.

    "Did we lose them? I'm so confused, why are so many people chasing us?"

    "I can't walk, so bye everyone! Ooh, maybe break off a stick and take it with you!"

    Eris swooped out of the hole in the wall, headed for Janice, Jay ran after her, using his aspect to make giant leaps. Pluto goes down after his head is cut off. The healing on other parts of his body slows down, but the neck stump starts to heal back together. The severed head crumbles into crystal powder.

    "But..." humans don't like being contradicted. "Well, I'm sure you're right. I don't know very much about this, really. Could she be" checks book "a Coppermind?"

    Pluto doesn't manage to dodge the punch in time, and takes it straight to the face, then the sword to the gut. He waves at the rest of the team and they go off, Eris to the Arena, the other two in a different directions, and he starts to heal. Jay follows Eris out to the arena. Janice is still out there and he overheard.

    A girl steps out from behind Pluto and Eris and makes a hand gesture. When she does, all the fear comes rushing back at Lloyd. It has almost a physical weight now, and he can see shapes swirling before his eyes. The one called Pluto grabs her sword, ignoring the pain as it cuts into his hand. He whirls her around and throws her against a wall. The cut heals almost instantly. "Let's find what we came here for." Eris smiles. "I think I found something better. There's another of us out on the field. I think she's natural, the Queen certainly didn't tell me if she made another"

    Each of the Yevon seem unharmed by the blast wave, although the smoke hiding them has been blown away. The winged girl walks out of the wreckage of her cage and over to them. She embraces a tall and pale man. "Told you it would work, Pluto." "It was my idea, Eris." Jay groans. He was thrown into a wall, and that force added to his Aspect, but he still felt it. His hands are glowing brightly now.

    "Oh you're feeling it, huh? The voice of the Queen? It can be hard, I know, I was there. Come here, let me help you. It's easier if you have someone to help you channel it. It's supposed to be shared among a kind of hive mind, but the human mind causes some strange connections that give you the full brunt of it. Let it flow out, don't block it. It will be less dangerous that way." She considers "Who am I kidding. Blow this whole place up."
