Miera read as many of the books as she could. She didn't understand all of them, they had terms like Investiture and Cognitive and Planet, but she wanted to know as much about this world as she could -
The portal begins closing and Patch hops through quickly, crashing into another world.

Patch had somewhat expected some kind of guards or response as he opened the portal, but so far was pleasantly surprised to see his exit was going to go uncontested.

An apple core flies off the deck and Vale walks around a wall. "What's going on?"

Figured it out. At least on mine, you have to extract the files and then you can play it. Seems really fun, but like everyone else has been saying, it runs at about 3 fps. I think my favorite moment was when I tried to jump on top of a little building and ended up going over the wall and dying.

So, I think this is just me being a moron, but how do I play it? My computer keeps trying to open it as a video . Do I need a special program or am I clicking on the wrong link or something?

Deep in the Mindscape, Patch raises his head. The psychic connection he had created to the girl just disappeared. Either the Lady had discovered the bond and destroyed it for some reason, or the girl had been killed. Either way, the girl was out of his reach now, and he needed to leave. Rising to his feet, he pulled out the strange device he had found inside a broken planet, and opened up a portal to escape. @Nathrangking
