Brilliant idea, but the first problem you would have to look at is the class system in dnd and how you would fit that with stormlight, you could make a “surgebinder” class with sixteen subclasses, but that would be a lot. You would have to have a base class of the first oath being taken at level 1 granting abilities similar to sorcery points that can be recharged by spheres, you would have abilities like healing and increased speed or strength temporarily. Then you would have to split the next four oaths by level, with the subclasses being different orders.

So I like this theory but I personally think that he will just become an edgedancer also, people on this thread have said that Adolin isn’t broken but

Skaromas replied to KandraAllomancer's topic in Stormlight Archive
Based on what you have said I guess it makes more sense, but voidbinding so far has been limited to the fused, because surely if it was accesible to regular singers or even royals then they would have a lot more than just the shown fused, there could be a way involving spren and gem hearts but the unmade are similar in size to the Bondsmith spren in terms of power (sometimes) and seem way more powerful than any of the radiant spren, Bondsmith fits well but they definitely wouldn’t be called that (as you said above).- 30 replies

This is a very interesting and plausible theory, and I really like it, it adds a reason to Nale having Nightblood.

There is one major problem with the theory, which is that the knights radiant order are a combination of Honour and Cultivation so no part of odium should be part of the original orders.- 30 replies

Same top four as I always get, Truthwatcher Edgedancer Windrunner and Lightweaver. Every time I take the quiz seriously it’s one of these, I’d probably pick Truthwatcher or lightweaver though.

I was talking about this with one of my friends, (he has never read the book but just based on what I explained about the magic system) he said it would make a better animated series than a movie.

By the way, the sonic movie turned out reasonably ok and also we have good examples of good cgi, for example in the first avengers the hulk was completely cgi also we should just hope that they don’t try to rush it because again the sonic is decently good in the move when, to my guess they didn’t really rush it.

Now that I am thinking about it, if I hadn't listened to the book first, I would have probably given Nightblood the voice Matt Mercer gives Craven edge.

I'd have to say lift, but Kal and Dalinar are close 2nds

I was reading through this and on page 8 or 9 it said what about the Wax and Wayne series, and I personally think Robert Downey Junior would make a good Wax
-
I would personally prefer live-action, purely because it can go well and it just looks better most the time in my opinion.

Well, I listened to the audiobooks because I had them in my library so I just think that they Nightblood sounds like what Michael Kramer made them sound like.

Book error, clubs burning bronze, & DND

yeah I remember pointing this out to one of my friends, and grabbing the book straight from my shelf to check if it was in the book. -
Tineye, which is 1 good because I thought I would be one and 2 slightly funny because my surname includes the word Tin as the main part of it.

This is a brilliant idea, and inspired me to do my own, would you put speeding up/ slowing down others mental speeds, similarly to the personal increases and decreases in sparker ferrings in Internal or external abilities. Edit: I've put it in external like emotional allomancy.

Lift to get a bigger role in future books, although that will definitely happen as she is officially known by the main radiants and has a backstory book in the back half, other than that, The Lopen because he is funny or Rok because he is interesting and a well made character. -
I think he is like several wild animals in dnd 5e unaligned, but if I had to go for any main ones I would choose chaotic neutral, I don't like how people are saying that he would be lawful because he has a single purpose, lawful in dnd means that they like rules, so an example is a hobgoblin maybe LE which I LAWFUL but they go against all other laws than their own, they just have rules and stick to them, similarly to the devils in the nine hells which have rules, unlike demons who seek to corrupt and destroy no rules or structure.

I'm Elend, although it is probably more of pre becoming king Elend, it does fit me though, I like books and don't care about my appearance.
