She notices that her outfit is ruined already because someone shot the shoulder and rips the cape off, frosting it. She runs into the man on top of Aryanna, throwing the cape at Aryanna in the process. "Put it over your mouth!" she shouts.

    Cadenza got kicked in her wounded shoulder and dropped to the ground, crying out. She pulled her cape over her face and lightly encrusted it with ice soon after the man put a mask on. It wouldn't do as well, but it would work.

    Woo! I tried to make Crystellation the kind of place where 10 different stories are going on and none of them intersect so that maybe eventually it can get a sub-forum, but it's unlikely. I can hope, though.

"Well--" she said, suddenly aware that it had taken too long for her to answer. "She-- she must have been attacking a settlement. I don't attack Amal unless they attack a settlement or attack me, and when you attack me or those I protect, I fight back."
