Hiiri and Noche watch this bizzare scene with mystified expressions. Hiiri turns to Noche and shrugs. "No idea."

    Herate shook her head vehemently. "Do it!" She threw a marshmallow at him halfheartedly.

    Sosternuto climbed to the floor where he could hear familiar voices and listened carefully.

    "You did! And now he's gone!" Herate's voice broke with a fake sob. "Defend yourself!" She gathered a handful of marshmallows slathered in whipped cream.

    Daolan gasped. "What have you done? Herate... Herate... come here." Herate runs over and kneels next to him, faking concern. "I'm here," she says, eyes teary. "I... I love you." "I know! I love you too." "I'm sorry... that this had to happen." "No, this can't be the end! You're going to make it!" "No, I'm not. Revenge me." "No! I won't need to, you're perfectly fine!" Herate shook her head wildly. "I'm... not fine. We both know that." "Please, no!" "Look at me, Herate. I'm not going to survive this. Please, just kiss me one more time." "But - you have to make it!" "Not this time. I'm sorry." Daolan pulled himself up to place a gentle kiss on Herate's cheek, then fell back, his eyes closed. For added effect, he stuck his tongue out. "You!" shouted Herate, climbing to her feet and pointing an angry finger at Fadran. "This is all your fault!"
