Crescendo picked up a handful of spheres and went over to the fountain to try to make the rims slicker.

Glissando gave him one last glance, then turned to look at the crowd. "Okay, but where's the right place?"

"The first part. I got your name." Glissando's silvery-blue eyes bore into Salin's.

Glissando ran through the crowd, heedless of who she shoved out of the way. "What did you say?"

"Oh hey, Torao! What are you up to?"

Glissando tucked her loose hair around her ear and turned. It was time to go, she couldn't let these strangers remember her. "Walk safely."

"Of course." Daolan stood up and marched toward the camp's perimeter. Herate tilted her head. "We're fairly certain that they don't know where our camp is, we've been relying on stealth to hide us."
