That wasn't what Alienor intended, but it would suit for now. She followed Allivia down the hallway. "How do you know about Nicolae?"

"Thank you." Crescendo enfolded Leonie in a warm hug.

"Alright then." The water held in its shape for a moment, then collapsed in a wave going all directions. Cadenza, Janice, and Corwin got splashed as well, but not as badly as the yevon. Cadenza huffed.

Alienor hesitated. "Well then... will you take me to the king?"

"Nicolae did. Why?"

"But he did!"

"Disappointed is okay. We're still friends, though, right?"

"What? No, it's not a lie. The king assigned him as my attendant this morning."

"Why the blood? I can melt it, but I don't see the point when there's already water."

"Try to slide your feet more," Minuet added.

"Is that nice, though? You got mad at me for hiding my Division, so maybe honesty's better, but I think maybe in some cases it's better to lie."

"You don't sound alright," Cadenza said, fending off another yevon.

"He's my attendant. The king assigned him."

"Move faster," Minuet whispered, putting a hand on Ara's back.

"I was wondering if you could direct me to the king or Sir Kimby."

The ice daggers flew overhead and Cadenza slid over, turning away from the pair and attacking another Yevon. She grunted and raised a small wall around them for the moment. "You're both fine?"

Alienor saw someone in the hallway and waved, picking up her pace a bit. "Excuse me."

Alienor took a right turn, then a left turn, then walked past the ballroom.

Alienor stepped into the hallway and glanced down both sides, then chose the right. She walked down the hallway, looking for Nicolae.

Alienor nodded. "Thank you."

"The correct title is 'Your Highness'."

"I'm not a Majesty - you don't have to call me that."
