Minuet nodded and ran back to grab her pack. She took up the Shadow's as well and walked over to hand it to him. "Quickly, then."

Now that she was looking, Cadence Cadenza could see the island. It wasn't such a big thing. "Where's Janice?"

Minuet followed silently, disguising herself among the trees. She could move silently enough, they wouldn't see or hear her. When the Shadow accepted this newcomer's presence, Minuet nearly voiced her dissent. She stepped out from her cover and stood within his view, her face revealing her discomfort with his decision. But she wouldn't allow herself to speak it.
