Cadenza crossed her arms and went to search for Cruz as well. It wasn't like he could do that much damage without Trace, and he had healed her when Janice asked him to.

Handing the cones out the window, she smiled nervously. "I hope they're to your liking." Melody turned and saw Arthur. She waved.

Cadenza rolled her eyes and nodded. "You want me to tell him?"

"It was the children's habit to greet their father as he returned from hunting so they could prepare the meat."

The woman gasped. "Um... yes, yes of course!" She hurriedly made the cones.

"Wait, what? Over one hundred?" Cadenza's eyes went wide. "Okay, so... give him time to wait for Janice to come back so she can defend him?"

"She needed help from the kids to complete them."

"The monster lady fought a lot of people and didn't have trouble. Nope, I didn't take the time to figure it out. But Cruz helped me."

Minuet followed Valzwyn up the hill. They needed to keep moving, but the best way to do that was to move past what the others needed to do.
