Aliénor looked down demurely and mentally settled herself to sit here quietly.

"Yes, my lord."

"Yes, really! It says she's on an island called Tairna, wherever that is, and that she wants us to come find her."

Aliénor seated herself adjacent to the king. The seats next to him would be reserved for trusted advisers, and the seats across from him would be occupied by newcomers.

"Now, then." Herate took off running towards the fox, using her enhanced strength to lengthen her strides. -

That wasn't a question, but she answered it anyway. "Yes, my lord."

Herate pulled out the dagger he'd given her. "Just tell me when."

Aliénor took a deep breath, then walked gracefully across the floor and toward the king. As she walked, stares and whispers followed her - not all good nor all bad. She reached her betrothed and curtsied deeply. "Your Majesty." @Channelknight Fadran

"Oh, geography! That's wonderful." Aliénor glanced over at the king. "I should likely go announce myself to him. I hope I can meet with you again sometime, this was quite enjoyable." She smiled.

Andante gasped as a cloud of darkness erupted out of the glyph. She could tell it was there, but she could see through it. "Whoa!"

Andante drew the glyph in her book and then traced it in the air. She didn't add dust, though.

"You're not the only one. Do you have a specialization in history?"

"So, Maverick, what's your connection to the king?"

"Hmm... darkness."

"Well, at least you're here." Aliénor extended her hand. "It's a pleasure, Maverick."

Princess Aliénor bowed her head. It was safest. "Yes, that's me." She blushed. She didn't know if he could see it. "You know me. What's your name?"

"Shield, calling the book, light... and fire."

One day, Cadenza got a letter. She waved off the person who delivered it to her and cracked it open. She didn't recognise the handwriting... but it was from Janice! "Guys!!! It's a letter from Janice!"

Aliénor noticed someone in a dark dress talking to who must be the Jester - who else would it be? - and she shuddered. She'd heard about the king's Raveness. She shuddered and stepped back - and bumped into someone. She turned around. "Oh, I'm so sorry." Her voice had a faint accent.

"Mhm!" Andante drew the rune and her book came flying back.
