  1. The thread slowly opens its eyes... It blinks, and shifts its weight on the seafloor. Sand rises up around it, enveloping the thread in an almost-cocoon. Small fish dart out of its way, and scatter into the darkness. Something seems to shift, and then the thread rises from the sand towards the surface. The light shines down, beckoning. Finally, the thread breaks the surface, and feels the warmth of the sun for the first time in millennia (read: four days). TST is awake once more. In a small village on the edge of the world, a man picked flowers for his goat.
  2. It’s been 100 pages since I joined this thread! Woo!
  3. Nobody quietly stood over Butt’s grave, watching as a butterfly gently rested on top of it.
  4. Very true, but I was just going off of the original trilogy. SH is amazing as well.
  5. I don’t think an age is actually a set measurement of time. So it’s however long or short you want it to be .
  6. Huh, I’m a soother. Though it guess it fits, as I don’t like confrontation.
  7. I got Alien Symbiosis, which is the power to gain powers by hosting alien beings in one’s body. I’m not sure how I feel about that. I don’t think I could handle little alien parasites . It gives you a range of powers depending on the parasite like shapeshifting or otherworldly senses, but... alien parasites. Also there’s the risk of, you know, getting taken over by said parasites and losing control. Edit (I’m sorry there are going to be a lot of these, this is really fun): Now I have multiple faces? (But I never had a face to begin with, I’m a salad..) Edit 2: I have galaxy physiology, which is the power to transform into or or have a physical body made up of galaxy. Not really sure how that works, but I’ll take it. I shall make the salad galaxy, which is just a giant salad! Edit 3: This is the most random grouping of powers ever. Now I have fourth wall awareness, which means I can have the ability to be aware that one’s Universe is fictional, and potentially use this to act in otherwise impossible ways within their fictional universe. So now I’m a galaxy salad who can host alien parasites, has multiple faces and knows about the fourth wall! Fear me mortals! We should make superhero/villain names.
  8. 10 pages in one day? OKAY, WE CAN DO THIS!
  9. It’s okay if I wake this thread up again, right? I’m still going with Crimson Flower, but I just watched Edelgard’s A support with Byleth and... I suppose my eyes have been opened a bit more. Spoilery discussion for Azure Moon and the aforementioned support:
  10. Can I just say both? Because swords are cool, but magical technology is also cool. However, I’d rather read about a society that changes and develops, rather than one that’s just stagnated.
  11. Are we talking about stuff that could potentially happen, or stuff that we just wish could happen? I’m just going to assume both and dump all of this here: Vin (HoA Vin, after most of her character development) and Jasnah (at the end of OB) meeting. They’re both rulers of large territories, blunt and pragmatic, and I just want to see how a reaction between them would play out. Sadly, it cannot happen unless someone invents time travel. An actual Shard vs Shard fight. Vin vs Ruin sort of counts, but it was over in about five-ish sentences. Shallan learning to accept the past and love herself. Kaladin finally finding happiness and learning to live alongside his depression. GHOSTBLOODS. Just more Ghostbloods. And Mraize. And Iyatil. Seriously, I need to know who Iyatil is. Hoid doing a hair-flip. Hoid being completely serious. A Hoid and Rayse interaction. A Shard and another Shard interacting (but not fighting). Kelsier showing up again in a Mistborn book (please Lost Metal, don’t let me down). And I think that’s all for now.
  12. You’ve won a pumpkin pie
  13. TFE has Kelsier. End of discussion .
  14. So umm... Is this still a thing? I understand if it’s just too hard to do with streaming and all that.
  15. “Plot is cool, but so are jellybeans,” said Salad as they started sprouting from the ground.
  16. The surges of the Vanillacallers: Proportion: The ability to know what amount of a certain ingredient will have what effect (E.g. what amount of butter to use in their cookie dough). This is a skill that must be honed over time, and first ideal Vanillacallers often struggle with this surge. Flavor: This surge allows Vanillacallers to see all combinations of flavors, and which ones would tastes good/bad while baking. They must focus on however many flavors they are thinking of combining, however, and this takes much focus and much... sugarlight? Did we come up with our version of stormlight yet? As such, they tend to be almost scientific in their baking methods, carefully crafting the perfect recipes and carrying them out in minute detail. They do not care for such things as decoration or the appearance of their baked goods, which may lead to some conflict with other orders.
  17. It’s a Kirby Right Back at Ya reference. I started typing out the lyrics of the theme song. The “Right back atcha” just kind of triggered it in my mind.
  18. KIRBY KIRBY KIRBY THAT’S THE NAME YOU SHOULD KNOW
  19. Joe looked around at the carnage, and took a sip from his blood-flavored smoothie.
