    Aerith leads her to a small, out-of-the-way pub. He takes her to the back, where he sits down besides a group of half-drunk men. "Hey, guys." Aerith says. "How'd you feel about some spare pocket change?"

    "I'm not one to tell you how to not fight monsters. I do the punchy-punchy stabby-stabby parts... and I should probably get back to that. You guys want to come join me on my quest to punch monsters?"

    "That sounds kind of like an oxymoron, but if you could figure it out, then sure."

    "That's... generally my criteria, yeah. I don't usually mess with monsters that don't hurt people." She frowned. "There are monsters that don't hurt people?"

    Janice hugged Cadenza back, letting her tears flow. What had she done before she had met all these people? What had she done when she didn't have any shoulders to cry on? @Negative_Null

    Janice tried to say yes, but the words caught in her throat, and she instead sobbed into Cadenza's shoulder.

    The doctor yelped and passed out when she shot him. Wimp. Janice tried to pull herself up, but found that she had no strength at all and collapsed again.
