    What? Really? It only took two permutations to put it in order? I went into this expecting to go through at least five, likely getting locked into some kind of infinite loop between the likes of H, W, & C.

    I think what happened was that we got a bit lucky. First and foremost you have the E Gang (E - X) which have been locked into their order, meaning seven out of twenty-six letters are set. Similarly, I - Z are something of "Novelty Letters," which are pretty much just spelled exactly how they sound. R - H have managed to stick to the start of the alphabet since Mark II, and with D bringing W to the start of the alphabet, we've actually locked in Y as well.

    Words we should change:

    • Paradox -> Loganti (Greek for "Logic" and "Contradict," which is internally contradictory)
    • Palindrome -> Palinilap (You can probably figure this one out)
    • Onomotapoeia -> ??? (To figure this one out we need to give words themselves the ability to speak)

    The food here was... alright. Fadran didn't eat all that much, suddenly developing a hankering for some good, bona fide zuppa toscana. Maybe he could reach out to Queen and get their old recipe. It was right then that his hand started glowing. Despite popular belief, no, it was not a tattoo - but a blue Iconar rune burst alight on the back of his hand. One of Icona's emergency signals. Nothing incredibly threatening - it wasn't red - but still required immediate attention. "Welp!" Fadran stood up from his seat.     If you ever get ridiculed for using "dumb" combinations of words, just remember that "advisor" is just a fancy was of saying "advice-er" and that us english-speaking nincompoops couldn't figure out a better name for a spiny fruit than "pine apple"

      People have tried making perfect languages for everyone to share, called a lingua franca, but that’s too much work (they actually made one that didn’t break rules and was very nice, I can’t remember what it’s called) but instead everyone just uses English because it doesn’t work.
