"She's... I don't..." Janice turned her head towards Vespyr. "I... I promise I'll come with you. Can I just say goodbye to everyone?"

She ran towards him, pulling him into a deep embrace and burying her face in his chest, shoulders shaking with more sobs.

Janice winced, closing her eyes as she watched one friend hurt themself to save another. This was her fault... all her fault...

"Help her!" Janice said. "Please!"

"Just come on... before you bleed out..."

Janice pulled out of Cadenza's embrace, still crying slightly. "Cruz... he has a healing Aspect..." @Knight of Iron

"I... I have a friend! He can help you!"

"I'm so sorry," Janice sobbed, "I'm so so sorry."

Janice turned to Cadenza's shoulder, crying into her friend.

Janice curled herself into a ball, sobbing uncontrollably into her knees.

Janice sniffed, then fell flat on her back and let go of her dagger. "I can't... I'm too scared..."

"We were going to go shopping..." Janice whispered. A small drop of blood slid onto Janice's dagger. "Never going to see you again..."

"Too dangerous... have to leave..." Her eyes squeezed tighter. "I'm scared..."

Ellis smiled and continued working away at his ice cream.

Terrified, Janice pulled herself away from... whatever that thing was. She seemed to have forgotten what she was doing. The blood on her hands reminded her. Janice closed her eyes once again, holding the knifepoint to her chest. "Goodbye..." She whispered.

Janice stumbled away from her, grabbing her dagger.

"Now, hang on... we've still got two scoops of ice cream to finish."

The crying started growing weaker.

Another pulse of energy broke against Vespyr's mask.

She didn't have anything left to say. Janice kept crying, trying desperately to end herself.
