    The guard tossed her into the dungeon and slammed the door, leaving her in darkness. After a few moments of silence, Wendy spoke up. "Arabella?"

    "She won't. I promise."

    "I just wanted to give you something before I go."

    "Oh--just like..." Wendy cleared her throat. "Okay."

    "I--I'll go." She considered adding 'I'm just a serving girl,' but opted to leave that out. Apparently, being a servant and disobeying orders was not a good combination in this castle; Robin had made that much clear.

    "I--but--" Wendy almost protested, but remembered that the dungeons were likely where they were keeping Arabella as well. "Will I have to stay there for long?"

    "I, uh..." she swallowed. "Should I... not be wandering about?"

    Ollie held Candle close and cried softly into her scales.

    "Then hurry it up. I'd like to get back to sleeping sooner rather than later."

    Ivian's eyes shot open. He was soaked with sweat and shaking with pain. Glancing around, he found himself surrounded by doctors and guards. A bloodied arrows sat on a table beside him. "What... happened?" He demanded.

    "Davey," Alex said, "do we have any food left? They're probably hungry."
