"How much?"

"You claim that yours... generates electricity?" He checked a notepad. "The field you're generating seems unrelated to that sort of thing. Care to demonstrate?"

The admiral turned to Ayia. "Care to explain?" She shifted her gaze away. "Beorin... they're an empire that exploits every resource. He's not trying to take your powers for himself... he's trying to add them to the Empire's collection."

"It was okay." She lowered her voice. "Master Feisyyd was nervous, I think."

"Hm? Oh, you misunderstand." "St... mate." Ayia turned to him. "Don't antagonize him."

"I was referring to the magic you have brought here, but I suppose we could exploit you personally as well."

"I believe your companion here is familiar with our methods of infrastructure," Kalin said, referring to Ayia. "Care to explain, dear?" She did not. "You are currently within what we affectionately refer to as a Skyfortress: put simply, this entire construct is but a stronghold set to defend and siege from outer space. We're currently in orbit around a large water planet, whose designation slips my mind. It - and here - are serving as our foundation for invading the universe that you have so brazenly emerged from." He strode down towards them. "Already we've noticed a strange surplus of seemingly contradictory magical fields... it will be a bother to conquer, but once under our command will serve our mage force immensely. I admit that the powers you've brought here with you are unfamiliar to me, though it won't take us long to decipher and exploit them."

"Hey Reelie," Nayla said, quietly, "um... how are you?"

Admiral Kalin was, for all intents and purposes, a human. The proper term would be "humanoid," though the essential dependency made it nigh-on impossible to effectively translate into anything other than Earthling. Basically, he was bipedal with two arms, a single head, ten fingers, two eyes, and dark brown hair. Two meters tall, exactly - in Beorin standards, anyway. He wore a dark black uniform bedazzled with too many medals and honorifics to count, each gleaming with contrasting colors to make the starkness of the uniform pretty much obsolete. There were exactly two reasons he wanted to see these newcomers, though he hadn't divulged either yet. "Welcome," he said, as the prisoners were escorted to the bridge.

kay, um... please don't misunderstand. I don't want to be mad at you guys - y'all are good people. And I definitely don't think that any of you have been intentionally trying to bother me with any of this, but my depression's going off the whack, my anxiety's decided to kick in again, and I'm just really stressed in general. Storytelling is my favorite thing, and I get really into my ideas and methods - and if they're interrupted, it can be really bad for all that above stuff. I recognize that that's probably a bad condition when it comes to RPing, but... well, that's just how I am. Sorry.

listen I don't want to be involved in anything where I'm constantly being badgered to make stuff that everyone tears to pieces automatically. It's bad enough that I get fifty thousand notifs an hour, and it's bad enough that even when I do write a post it's immediately "you're wrong" - let alone both. So I'm not having fun, so I shouldn't be participating. And don't call me a "bickering seven-year-old" again
