  1. The bands were... strangely tight. Especially considering Variance didn't really have wrists in the first place. They were led into the lift, escorted by two officers and four armed guards. Maybe Ayia would've been able to take them all like this - hell, not even 'maybe' - but there was only so far she'd get with the others behind her. They'd all get gunned down eventually.
  2. Ayia didn't respond, but stepped to the front of their line as the officer led them towards the lifts.
  3. The officers cuffed everyone in turn: regular for Strohger and Ayia, but for Allera they had to cover up to her shoulders. It took a few minutes of logistics and processing, but before long they'd collected a pair of mysterious-looking bands. They slid onto the wrists of both Shim and Variance with unnatural ease, though they didn't seem to be doing anything... yet. "You will each be led to a seperate holding cell, which will serve as your temporary prisons until we find time to interrogate and room to put you in. Expect further questioning within a few hours, and-" His wristband bleeped a couple times. The officer frowned as the message relayed through his earpiece. "...I see. Well, then. As it turns out, you will all be sharing a set of rooms on the SI deck. Admiral Kalin will be interrogating you personally." Ayia swore a little. Quietly, though.
  4. Ayia was the last to emerge. "I have a Semirealm. I take it you can tell?" "You're familiar with our customs, then?" The officer scanned her a couple times. "Ah - a Vadrulan. What were you doing in this uncharted universe?" She didn't reply. "Very well... are there any weapons on your person?" "No." The aide gave a thumbs-up to confirm. The officer nodded, then a few moments later replied, "We've locked your Semirealm. Proceed."
  5. As a short silence fell, Feisyyd withdrew from the formalities. "I sense that you aren't here for a holiday visit, Royalos."
  6. "She's nice," Nayla replied, which was about average for how many words she could say to a stranger at any given time.
  7. "Master Royalos." Feisyyd bowed to him. "This young man bumped into us while we awaited you, called Cloud. He's no Jedi - or so he claims - but wields the Force and a lightsaber. I can attest to his skill with the first, though he's yet to demonstrate any affinity with the second..." Nayla glanced at him. "Hi." "Ah, yes. This is my newest and youngest Padawan, Nayla. And Reelwiron, though I seem to recall that you've seen him before."
  8. Nayla peeked at Cloud tentatively. "You're not a Sith, right?"
  9. The officer pulled them down moments later, pushing the bracers over his hands. They clenched down to hold the entire hand still up past the wrist, then snapped together to make a single piece.
  10. The officer tapped a band across his wrist a couple times to open a Semirealm, from which he brought out a pair of large hand bracers. "Turn around. Arms on your head."
  11. "That's an unusual field you're projecting for a power like that," the officer replied. "But sure. We'll go with that."
  12. "Watch your tone. I'm authorized to eliminate any prisoners who act up." The officer examined the stone. "Very distinct energy, that. Something to do with fire, yes?"
  13. "What does it do? I recommend you explain as honestly as you can." "Feathered biped... beak..." A second officer noted her traits. "Are you capable of removing that stone from your head?"
  14. "Your senses are less potent than the intentions within the Force." Feisyyd turned back away from him. "There was no animosity here. See if you can work on focusing your perceptions during future training." Nayla peeked up at him through her hood. "Hiya, Reelie."
