The king of Siel orders his personal guard to train with the flyers while the engineers and explorers continue researching skyships.
The explorers discover an island full of mysterious, glowing crystals.
The king sends the engineers to investigate the crystals, while the guardsman join the explorers on their journey.
By chance, they all end up stranded on the same island.
The king, however, does not want anyone to know where his son is, and forbids the explorers to leave.
Unable to escape, the explorers decide to stay on the island indefinitely.
A few months later, a group of young scouts arrive at the island.
The scouts are sent to explore the area, but they are quickly captured by the king's guardsmen.
Meanwhile, the scouts' captain manages to smuggle his crew off the island before they are killed.
The guardsman, however, isn't so lucky.
He is too slow to escape, and ends up trapped on the island with the rest of the explorers.
The king meets with the captain, and decides to show him his secret laboratory.
The king shows the explorer the crystal that has been powering his fleet of skyships. It is a powerful source of energy, and could provide Siel with endless power.
But the king doesn't intend on giving up this valuable asset.
If the explorer refuses to help him, the king will kill his entire crew.
The captain reluctantly agrees to work with the king, and helps him produce more of these crystals.
Eventually, Siel produces enough crystals to start building their own fleet of skyships.
Essentially, this is a really wraparound way of saying "it worked!"
