  1. “What does that mean?” Vance whispered to Kealie, being rather inexperienced in Vine-ish.
  2. Vance waved at the vines. “Hi, Eej. Nice to meet you.”
  3. Vance blinked a couple of times. Honestly, this was really more of his sister’s thing… ”What about the magic vines?”
  4. “Yeah, yeah. All that was fine. I mean, what exactly… is it? I’ve never heard of anyone who could magically summon rope.”
  5. Vance nodded, sneezing again. He set his bowl down and leaned back against a tree. “That’s quite the volatile power you have.”
  6. “There’s plenty. You got a bowl?” Vance glanced into the pot. “If not you can just have the rest. There’s about a serving in there, I’d bet.”
  7. Vance was still keeping watch - albeit now with a tasty bowl of Bunny stew. “Heya.” “I’ll deter any of these ‘guardian’ people while you get mining.”

  9. The Wrizrecan Emperor goes to petition the gods, once again, for his people. He begs them to free his people from their servitude to the Ouphamenial Tribunal. The Ouphamenial Tribunal is a secret organization of priests dedicated to the protection of the world. There are many branches of this tribunal, and they work in different ways. Some protect the planet, while others guard the holy texts and history books. Others keep track of the various religions and sects that exist within the world, in order to prevent religious conflicts. This is how the tribunal came to rule over the Wrizrecan Empire. The emperor asks why the gods allow the tribunal to oppress his people, and he is told that the tribunal exists to ensure peace in the world. If there is no war, then there will be no need for the tribunal to exist. The emperor continues to beg for help, but the god does not respond. Instead, he decides to take matters into his own hands, and leads a revolt against the tribunal. He manages to kill most of the priests, and frees the Wrizrecan people from their servitude. As they celebrate their freedom, the emperor realizes that he has a choice to make. Will he continue fighting for his people, or will he focus on building a prosperous empire? You did it! And expanded the lore! @Sequence
  10. The Lynaran king invites the Kingdom of Reabromore and the Kingdom of Aniviel to declare a purple holiday on a certain day to encourage unity between the allies. To celebrate, you go into the other kingdoms and MAKE FRIENDS. You can choose to be nice, friendly, or flirty. It's up to you! When the holiday ends, the three kingdoms travel back to their own lands. As the King of Anival sits on his throne, he sees a vision of the past. He remembers the moment when he had declared the purple holiday. His advisors suggest that they should do it again, because it worked so well the first time. But the King disagrees. "I think we should try something different," he says. "Let's host a party." While the others look confused, the King explains. "We can invite everyone in our respective kingdoms, and give them a chance to mingle and get to know each other. That way, if the war comes, we'll have more friends than enemies." His advisors agree, and they organize the next Purple Holiday. It worked!

  12. Gonna double-post here. Fight me. Here's some old stuff I drew back when I was still figuring out faces:

  14. Fair enough. I suppose we should then figure out how to revive the thread (again). As much as I like aquatic exploration, that hasn't seemed to be working so far. Do we change it? Or reflavor it?
  15. Darkness had completely fallen by the time they arrived at what Vance deemed an eligible clearing. It was atop a hill - meaning they couldn't get flooded even if it somehow rained tonight - and surrounded on practically all sides by thick foliage. The top was flat enough for his bedroll and Kealie's... ah, vine bed thing, plus some room for a fire pit and for someone to keep watch. "Do you have any food on you?" Vance asked Quest, taking a space to the middle of the clearing to dig out a pit. "If not I can get you some animal-free things."
