apparently I made a Facebook account in 2017

I was - notably - born in 1961, making me older than my dad. And my last name is Smith, it would seem.

(The notification in question had something to do with local dads and barbecues in my area of something... I only glanced at it, but the way it was worded definitely made it seem like I had once consciously followed some selection of activity hashtags, and the algorithm had finally found - after over six years - a single post or group or something that actually fit it).

(I mean... it's not that I don't like outdoorsy stuff. Get me some homies and I could hike the heck outta those mountains; but how did they get "looking for local dads and dudebros from Dick's Sporting Goods and REI to go kayaking with" from "presumably hasn't been on the internet for six yea-
