  1. Thirty non-spammy posts a day is a lot. Even with RoW coming out, which is almost guaranteed to increase posting rates, I don't think it will happen.
  2. I have only one complaint with your signature. You categorize yourself as a book nerd when you are actually a book geek. the way to tell the difference is quite simple: how they finish the sentence: "May the force be". A nerd will answer it: Equal to the mass times acceleration, while a geek will answer: with you. Still, pretty good signature. 7/10.
  3. I would guess that they can still fight and take orders, at least to an extent.
  4. *Realizes that there are still more slumbering fused* *Flees Roshar in terror*
  5. I think Lift can still hold it. Kaladin could, and it seemed to still be healing him somewhat. Based on the Fused's dialogue, I would guess that a radiant of fourth ideal or higher would maintain access to the surges and their sharblade.
  6. I think that she could probably make stormlight by eating food, but she could do nothing other than hold it, which would give her all of stormlights regular benefits, although I would guess that they would be dampened at least a little. The suppresor basically puts a lot of interference on the bond. If you have a high enough ideal, then the bond is strong enough to overcome the interference. I would wager that a radiant lower than third ideal would lose the ability to hold stormlight entirely.
  7. Yeah, but how would she use that without a nahel bond? A regular person can't hold stormlight, so why would Lift be able to?
  8. Well, Renarin might be able to do something because his spren is corrupted with Odium's investiture, but Lift won't be able to hold stormlight without a nahel bond.
  9. Is this a chance for Kaladin to swear the fourth ideal at a properly heroic time and save the day that I detect? I am genuinely terrified of Raboniel right now. She's at least going to be the main antagonist for this book, and she's the first person we've met that I feel has the potential to last more than one book. Somebody stab her with Nightblood already. Shallan is already of the fourth ideal, I am absolutely certain that I saw a WoB saying that she was one ahead of Kaladin at the end of Words of Radiance. I can't seem to find it now though.
  10. I mean, it would work, but it wouldn't do anything useful. Just an uncontrolled burst when you could do the same thing without that.
  11. I mean, we have this WoB: Which implies that all that limits a Radiant is how much stormlight they have.
  12. They have a limit to how fast they can burn their metals, otherwise Vin wouldn't have cared when duraluminum was discovered.
  13. I think that any Radiant/Duraluminum combo would be mostly useless, as the main benefit of duraluminum is that Mistborns and Mistings have an upper limit on how much power they can use at one time. Radiants, however, have no such limitation. Kaladin can use however many lashings he wants to at a time, he just needs to have enough stormlight. Jasnah couldn't soulcast people easily because of the perpendicularity, she could do so because she had enough stormlight to waste on brute forcing them to change, rather than convincing them.
  14. What happens when you get to the C's? 853
  15. Stop nagging me and be quiet. Now you can either hand over the desert, or you can die. Sorry. (I might not be the best person to answer this. The response I would make is the "I didn't know it was yours!" defense, and I doubt that's the best response). WTWTTSW your sibling brings up politics at a family reunion.
  16. Because your ears don't like turning upside down.
  17. I have now started the Grimm Troupe, and I think I found something that has something to do with the pantheons. I need a simple key. Why did I open the spa?
  18. Well, here's an update on my current completion status:
