    Nameless waved a hand and the environment shifted. Suddenly, they were standing in a peaceful vegetable garden next to a cottage. There was a cool breeze, and Shayd could hear the sound of rushing water from a stream somewhere nearby. "Here we are. Do you like gardening?"

    Unintelligible nodded. "Alright. After you get Everyone back in line, we'll talk about that adventure, okay? I'm looking forward to it." He tore up his invitation and vanished. "I won't. Don't let them execute you until I get there." Subversion waved goodbye.

    It's a legal trial, he can either spectate or testify.

    "Well my house isn't too long from here. You can stay with me if you want."

    Subversion stepped away as well. "I guess so. Um, thanks for the dance. It was fun." Subversion trailed off, not quite sure what else to say. "Yes." Unintelligible pulled out his invitation, frowning at the new words. "but Sequence, you're worried. Can't you tell me what's wrong? Maybe I can help." "Oh, Everyone's a nasty piece of work. Sort-of controlled by Sequence, but I guess that's changed." Subversion shivered. "If Everyone's the one behind this... we should probably go. It could be very dangerous for you." Did he sign the first or second blank?

    Unintelligible nodded, but he had a worried look on his face. "You didn't answer my question. Is something wrong?" -- On everyone's invitations, words began to write themselves. You are all cordially invited to the trial of the Great Wizard. If you have information that will be relevant for the case, please sign your name below at the soon-to-be provided first blank, and you will be teleported to a secure location where you can prepare for the trial. Subversion glanced around. "Nogard, you should probably leave. Everyone is quite dangerous."

    "You're the lawyer? Alright." The adventurers set about opening the door, a process which took almost ten minutes. Once finished, they quickly shoved Selppaenip through the door and slammed it shut behind him, leaving the heroic slayer of pineapples in utter darkness. Subversion nodded slowly. "Well, we could maybe find some other capable of splitting people apart if you really want to. Personally though, I would rather just have someone point out my flaws. Much less traumatic." Subversion blinked. "Excuse me, what? Black stuff? Die?"

    "Cool! Can't say I've got any interesting powers like that. You have someplace to stay?"

    "Don't have portal powers. Just walking powers." Moni walked to the front door and opened it. "You coming?"

    "Oh, that's interesting. You've got heat powers?" Nameless examined Shayd with a light of curiosity in his eyes. "Must be a cool story behind that."

    "I'm fine, I'm fine, just twisted it." Unintelligible took another step, barely limping this time. "See? And why do I need to leave? Is something wrong?" "Ah, got it." Moni pulled out a map and started examining it. "The Eternal Mountains? They're here. Let's see... the temple of Atreides? Ah, there it is. Shouldn't take to long to travel there."

    "Nope. Never been one to do research on ancient temples." Moni pulled her pack off and started rifling through it. "I think I have a map in here somewhere though..."

    "Do you know what's causing that heat? Sand doesn't normally vaporize."

    "Oh, okay." Moni frowned. "Where are these temples?" Unintelligible took Sequence's hand and got back to his feet, wincing slightly as he put weight on his right foot. "Guess I bruised a bit more than my pride." He said, wincing slightly as he took a step. "Ouch."

    "Alright. Where are these monuments?" It ends things.

    "Huh. Well that's strange." Nameless looked back up at Shayd. "What did you say your name was again?"

    "Deal." Moni shook Perseus's hand. "Now, didn't you say that your gods would banish you once you had a Plotblade? Is there a reason that hasn't happened yet, or are they just waiting for a properly dramatic moment?"

    “Oh, a desert? Interesting.” Nameless kicked some sand. “I don’t like deserts. Hard to grow things in them.”

    Nameless glanced around. "You tell me! I've never been to this part of the thread before."

    Nameless walked up to the newcomers. "Hello! Welcome to tst!"

    Selppaenip appeared in front of a massive iron door, guarded by a dozen well-armed adventurers. "Oh, he's dead. He was an evil wizard, as I said. Or, well, he was a sort-of evil wizard." Subversion shrugged. "Besides, you don't need it. You're actually a good person." Unintelligible snorted. "I'm not completely without ego. Although to be honest, falling over is probably healthier for my pride than continuing to dance." Moni folded her arms. "I'll go with you, but I'm doing so to make sure you don't go too far. If there's a way to save the Skavi and make certain that the demons can't hurt anyone else that doesn't involve killing them, then we'll do that instead. Killing for vengeance is not something I'm going to be a part of."

    "Fine." Moni emerged from her room, a pack slung over her shoulder. "I'll warn you though, Endings is bonded to me. If you teleport away, I can just summon it back. The only way to break the bond would be to kill me." With that, she drew forth the Blade of Endings, the Blade whose power gave even Platypus pause, and proffered it to Perseus. It was a rusted dagger that looked as if it would turn into dust if he so much as breathed on it. The only danger it looked like it would pose to anyone was tetanus, and that was barely a risk at all if the edge was as dull as it looked. Unintelligible struggled to rise, then collapsed, laughing, back to the floor. "I-I'm fine." he managed to get out. "Just bruised my pride."

    Unintelligible's right foot chose this moment to find an obstruction in the perfectly flat floor Sequence had created, and he went crashing to the ground in a heap. "Well, it was confusing." Subversion got a distant look in her eyes as she recalled being split. "It was fun for some of my aspects, but horrible for others. In the end, when I was reformed into one being again, I was left... changed. I didn't gain any new perspective on life, but I did explore the perspectives that I'd discounted before." She shrugged. "You wouldn't have liked me before that happened. To be frank, I was a horrible person." Moni considered Perseus's words for an interminable moment. Finally, she sighed. "I'll help you. On one condition. I'm not just going to hand you Endings and trust that you'll use it wisely. I'm coming with you." She turned and walked back into her room. "Give me a minute to pack my bag." Can't believe I'm letting myself get dragged into another quest like this.

    "I share your sentiment. Parties are, as you say, rather boring." The Brave Adventurer continued filling out paperwork. "I'm afraid I'm too busy to entertain you at the moment, but there is a chair over there under that pile of paperwork." Unintelligible did stumble (slightly) less on this new surface, but it was hard to tell because his uncontrollable laughter made the rest of his dancing even worse to compensate. "Thanks Sequence, it does help. Now I can show off my impressive tripping skills even better!" "Oh, I guess I did." Subversion frowned. "Um, well, I never really had siblings. There was just this time that this... I guess you could call him a wizard, he split my personality up so that there were a bunch of me. Different parts of my personality-my emotions-were personified." "Alright." The brave adventurer got out his invitation. "Ah, good, they got it working. If you would look at your invitation, it should have a new section that will transport you to the interrogation room."

    "I'm afraid we can't begin the trial until *ahem* the party is over." An adventurer hurried into the room, handing the Brave Adventurer a file then hurrying out, sparing a confused glance for Hacob. The Brave Adventurer read the file, nodding to himself. "Ah, good. We've almost finished hacking the invitations so they'll work to summon the necessary witnesses. Was there something else you wanted?" Subversion glanced away as well, her own cheeks more than slightly red. "Something about family. I made a stupid joke, I think." -- A brave adventurer appeared at the party and glanced around. Seeing Selppaenip, he quickly walked over to him. "You wanted to be informed when the Great Wizard woke up? Well he's awake now, if you're available."
