    "Well, don't worry. You'll have plenty of amazing opportunity for redemption." Nameless glanced over at Thaidakar. "How much do you want to bet Rep survived?"

    Nameless shrugged. "So, you killed your friend for no reason, then lost a ton of your lab stuff. Pretty bad day you're having, huh?"

    "Well, there goes all of Nowhere's Earwaxium. And his lab too." Nameless walked into the room calmly.

    "Yes. And you killed him. Anyways, have fun with the withergeists. They're under orders from Abomination to kill you all." The smoke lost form and blew away on the wind.

    "Because some Narrator had a bounty out for whoever managed to drop Thaidakar into a 'superlava volcano'."

    The figure laughed. “Your friend never betrayed you. He accepted Abomination’s offer, then immediately started looking for a way to get out of the contract. We had to put a tracker on him without his knowledge to get this location.”

    Rep’s body did some very convincing dead body things. The figure was made of smoke, or appeared to be. “Arrived? Not quite yet. I have been imprisoned so long. This world has changed. I am not ready to confront the two of you. Not yet. I simply sent this shell to tell you something.”

    Suddenly, withergeists swarmed into the room. The ceiling exploded as more and more of them flooded into the room. Rep's body was knocked backwards onto the floor limply. a figure stepped from the shadows.

    A voice came from the shadows "Very touching. Very touching indeed. You truly are heartless, aren't you?"

    Rep looked genuinely regretful. "I... Nowhere, I'm sorry. I didn't want to... well, it's too late for apologies."

    "I didn't need to. He already knew."

    Rep looked at Nowhere sadly. "You wouldn't understand. I had to give Abomination that crystal."

    "How could I help? I'm not a Narrator. I have no idea how to fix a shattered soul."

    Rep grunted slightly. "Betrayed you?"

    "A whole lot of good. Being willing to abide by contracts will get you more customers." Rep looked surprised. "Nowhere. You're not at your lab."

    Rep smiled, looking at the walls. "You know how useless this stuff is?" "You know how much good morals will do you?"

    Rep laughed. "My employer wasn't going to do anything permanent to him." Rep went along without a fight, seeming amused by something.

    "I highly doubt that. If you knew my plans, you wouldn't be trying to kill me right now." Rep smiled. "You're such a good friend."

    Rep looked calmly at the mist. "And what have I done to you? Besides the Nullite thing."

    "Alright. Do you have any old friends that could help?" Rep winced slightly, but the wound sealed itself shut. "I thought I'd surrendered. Why does Spook hate me so much?"
