    Lard's shoulder instantly swallowed up the sword, disassembling the Narrationblade and incorporating it into his body, which rapidly shifted into a much smaller dragon covered in shiny metallic scales.

    The dragon cocked his head, as if listening to something. "Okay, maybe we should fight, on second thought." "Alright. I'll trust your judgement. I don't really see how to fix this though. My knowledge of Narrators is secondhand, and even most Narrators don't really know much about their powers."

    "Well, he's in charge of my shapeshifting. Since it's his power, and all. He told me he'd leave me as a phoenix until I stole the puppy. And I don't think he wants me to kill you, just fight you. He was always challenging people when he was alive. Comes with being so powerful, I suppose."

    "Legend, my brother, wanted me to steal the puppy." The dragon grew larger and more menacing by the moment. "He also seems to want me to kill you or something."

    "Oh. Well, I'm terribly sorry that I stole your puppy. I didn't want to do it, but, well, my brother made me." Lard suddenly transformed into a gigantic dragon with fiery horns and glowing black eyes.

    Lard landed on the edge of a cliff, putting down 655 and the puppy. "Alright Legend, I kidnapped the puppy. Can you change me back now? Why'd you even want the thing?" Legend's shade smiled at Asi, who was sniffing at 655's shoes curiously. "I always wanted a puppy. And you needed some spice in your life. You'll thank me later."
