  1. "Yes. It's the only possibility that makes sense. Why else would this prophecy cloud my vision of the future? How else could my protections be bypassed? Who else would be able to manipulate Nameless of all people into going along with his scheme? That guy's almost impossible to work with." I'm not a ghost. Please stop calli-actually, never mind. Keep Narrating me as a ghost, it might help me make a new body.
  2. "I see... So, why'd you come to this clinic?"
  3. Lark peered down over the edge of the pit. "I'll let you out if you answer a few questions!"
  4. Lark slipped and fell on his back. When he managed to get up, he was smiling broadly. "Wow! I didn't know you could make ice. You really are shaking things up, huh?"
  5. Eof, just as everyone had always known. This was an evil Eof that had never met Esmerelda, and thus stayed an unstoppable force of evil and domination.
  6. Forgery would probably work really well, although it would doubtless be very difficult. You could probably make hemalurgy work as well. If we're talking Rosharan magic systems, a Bondsmith could probably do something to help them.
  7. Eof's face was hard as he turned around. "I know now who the mysterious villain is. Only one person could have bypassed the protections I placed on my home. Only one person could have done this."
  8. Page 13: Nameless successfully 'proves' himself sane, also proving himself (in his eyes) a main character. Thaidakar sees through this trick. Tani examines some cookies for spikes, and Thaidakar attempts to snag some, leading to an altercation. Nameless leaves the clinic intent on finding the nearest library and reading the entire SA back half, followed closely by Shadow. In this library is a book that apparently only Nameless can open, which Shadow attempts to get him to open, to no avail. Oh, and Random Guy pops up there for some reason.
  9. To add to what returned said, Kolloss are actually not created from dead humans in the sense that they're zombies. The spikes implanted in them are made by killing humans, but the Kolloss themselves are ordinary, living humans who have been warped by those spikes into what they are now.
  10. Weeping, he buried his children. Damn this prophecy. I should've seen this. Should've prevented this.
  11. Horrified, he dashed through the ruins of his home, desperately rummaging through the ruins to find his family.
  12. Lark walked along the hallways of the clinic, looking at the list of names and room numbers he'd pickpocketed off of Calano. So many patients locked in their rooms reading. Who should I interview first?
  13. And after a quick check, Eof eliminated him from suspicion.
  14. Page 11: Tani gets upset that other patients (Random Fellow in particular) read non-Sanderson books, Nameless first notices Shadow, causing him to become convinced that he is the main character and will soon gain incredible powers. Morningtide steals a copy of AoN from Nameless and gives it to Tani in an attempt to cheer her up. Frustration obtains a copy of Dragonsteel Prime, and Nameless wants one too.
  15. "I see." Lark snapped his notebook closed and stood up. "Well, I'll go interview the other patients. Thank you for your time."
  16. "Yes, of course. The Elend Venture from Mistborn."
  17. Lark took a moment to answer, writing down Calano's answers on his notepad. "Just a more... personal question. What's your opinion on Elend?"
  18. "That is strange. Last question: pancakes or waffles?"
  19. "Question nine: What's the weirdest thing a patient's ever said to you?"
