    Moni lingered for a moment, then followed Shadow down the tunnel. "What was that?"

    "I'm an Avatar. Just passing through." Moni peered down one of the many dark tunnels leading from the cavern they were standing in. "We'll be gone in a moment."

    Moni looked around. "No idea. A cave somewhere."

    As the group walked, their surroundings began changing. Soon, they were standing in a dim cave, the only light coming from faintly glowing crystals that occasionally studded the walls.

    "All right then, we should get going." Moni started walking in a seemingly random direction. "For that, remain here for a while. I am expecting a few more guests."

    Yeah, this would be nice. Even just a guide of what content books have would be nice.

    "Hm. Probably, yeah. And maybe some of Bookwyrm's avatars?" Eof served himself some food. "That depends on where you decide to go. Currently, there is a group gathering to oppose Feanor. You could join them. Or you could join Feanor. Or you could do something else, of your own choosing. Many paths are available to you."

    Granted. You have everything you want, but are still terribly unhappy. I wish for this school year to go well.

    "Sequence would be a big help too, wouldn't she?" Moni shrugged. "The Plotblade of Conflict sounds like it'd be pretty good against an unknown evil guy."

    "Thanks! Glad to know that you don't hate every part of Subversion." "Who does that list include?"

    You could store or tap using more than one metalmind at a time, but it wouldn't let you avoid diminishing returns. the increase to your attributes comes from the quantity of Investiture that you're using, so tapping 50% speed from two metalminds would have the same result, diminishing returns wise, as tapping one metalmind for 100%.

    Eof followed Ryss into the kitchen, putting on hot mitts and pulling a lasagna from the oven. Reasoning frowned at the pebble for a moment, then picked it back up and followed Eof and Ryss into the kitchen. "Bookwyrm, you coming?" @The Bookwyrm "I..." Moni trailed off. "I guess. So what do we do now? What's the new plan?"

    Reasoning only looked a little bit utterly shocked. “Nice to meet you Them. What do you know?”

    Reasoning pulled the stone from her pocket. "You... know something about this?"

    The beeping sound of a timer going off drifted through the door of Eof's study. "Ah. That would be dinner. No need to worry, I prepared enough for all of you."

    "Think of it as... a fossil, perhaps. An imprint. Not quite Narrativium, but almost. Dormant Narrativium, you could say."

    Moni looked uncertain. "Maybe. I... guess that could explain why I don't remember coming here. Losing a Narrator is traumatic." Eof's eyes glowed faintly as he read the non-canon speech. "Perhaps. However, for all the similarities it shares, that sphere is not Narrativium. Not any form of it that I'm familiar with, at least."

    "Oh, we were talking about it because this sphere here" Eof gestured towards the dull gray sphere in Bookwyrm's hands. "Looks remarkably similar to Narrativium. Specifically, the Narrativium found in a Narrator's Core." Moni closed her eyes briefly, then opened them again. "I... don't know where Nameless is. I can't sense him at all."

    "I am Eof. That woman over there is Subversion's Reasoning, and that man is Bookwyrm. Also, that pebble in Reasoning's pocket is sentient."

    "Great. So, you want to know where Nameless is?" "Concussions will do that to you. Have you lost any other memories?" "The material it is made of looks remarkably similar in structure to Narrativium of the purity and density that is found only in a select few places." Eof paused to brush some wood chips off of his desk. "One of which is a Narrator's soul."

    "No, don't worry about it. I've got good insurance." Eof sighed. "What brings you here?" Page 1 works. Only 2400 pages necessary to understand everything! (Unless you want to know all the extended TLT lore, in which case there's a few hundred more pages spread across a few RP's and other threads started from TLT) Or you could read this summary of the current plot: If you want to learn about TLT lore Xinoeph512 has some blogs about it. I'll help you stop this evil guy, as long as you don't try to make me fight him."

    "Oh, any moment? Oh, that won't do at all. I'd rather get serious now." Nameless casually pointed a finger at the fool, summoning a blast of white-hot flame that filled the entire room, ripping walls, ceiling, and floor apart as it barreled towards the fool.
