  1. Eof mumbled something about a master plan under his breath and walked over to examine the damage. "Well, that was expected. Bookwyrm, did you finish reading the study yet?" I'm not too attached to Eof. Other people can narrate him if I'm not around, just don't make him kill his wife and children.
  2. Eof snatched the small piece of Narrativium from Bookwyrm and placed it back in the sealed drawer he’d taken it from. “Sorry about that. I was doing experiments with it earlier, and Narrativium can be unpredictable.” He sat back in his chair, considering Bookwyrm’s question. “Well, I can’t give you an in-depth explanation, but I assume you’re familiar with Mordite? Narrativium is similar. Where Mordite is the essence of Chaotic Darkness, Narrativium is the essence of Chaotic Light. All Narrators have Narrativium at their core, and it is by that power that you have Narration. There’s more to it than that, but I… actually, hold on.” Eof walked over to a cabinet and pulled out a few pieces of paper. “Here. This is a study on the fundamental substances of TLT. It will explain better than I can.” @The Bookwyrm
  3. Moni folded her arms. "Well I won't kill him. This Plotblade seems to have a mind of its own at times, and I don't want to find out what it'll do if I get into a fight."
  4. Moni's reply was quiet, voice tight with anger. "I'm not afraid of losing. It's too dangerous because I might win. Unlike you, I don't like killing people. Even if the enemy has killed people, they doesn't deserve death. No one does." @Thaidakar the Ghostblood
  5. “Of course not! I don’t want people to die any more than you do. But I won’t fight this enemy. It’s too dangerous.”
  6. “You expect me to know what Nameless was thinking? I have no clue what to do, and if he wants me to…” Moni sighed. “Look, will you leave me alone if I tell you where Nameless is?”
  7. Moni noticed her hand and glared at it, forcibly folding her arms. “That someone isn’t me. I won’t fight anyone.”
  8. “An enemy? But why would he involve me? I-” Moni cut off, taking a step back from Shadow and lowering her hand towards the dagger at her side. “Did he tell you about the Plotblade? Is that why you’re here?”
  9. Moni frowned. “Strange. I don’t remember much about the last few days. Last thing I remember, I was at Nameless’ house…” she shook her head. “Did you say something about Nameless earlier? I didn’t quite get it.”
  10. Moni stared at the blade in her hand as if noticing it for the first time. "It's a Plotblade. Endings." She shoved the Blade back into a sheath at her side, an expression of annoyance on her face. "How did I get here? Did one of you two bring me?"
  11. Moni flinched at the mention of Nameless, looking up at Shadow for the first time. "Nameless? But he..." the arm holding the dagger wavered, then dropped to her side. "Where am I?"
  12. Moni reacted instantly, spinning on Shadow and moving her arm up with lightning speed, dagger disappearing from the ground and reappearing in her hand, tip of the blade mere inches from Shadow’s face. The blade was chipped, covered in so much rust it looked like it might turn into dust any moment. Despite this, the dagger still gave off an aura of danger, and Shadow’s instincts told him to be very careful around it.
  13. Moni didn't react to Micheal's words, but the dagger in the ground briefly shone with a barely visible aura.
  14. The sphere was made of a dull gray metal that felt too heavy for its size, and looking closely Bookwyrm could see a faint pattern on its surface that appeared almost crystalline. "Still don't see it?" Eof handed another object to Bookwyrm, a small piece of metal that glowed with a chaotic, multicolored light. "That's Prismite, Narrativium if you prefer. Do you see the similarity?"
  15. Unintelligible lets the goat go. "Alright. So, where are we now?"
  16. Yeah. We don't have reason to believe it, but it also hasn't been hard deconfirmed. Yoki-Hijo weren't immortal, but they are now after the Investiture they gained after the Father Machine's activation. TLR was immortal in the sense that he had enough Investiture to be a CS if he wanted and I guess he could have been immortal enough to never die of old age if Vin hadn't killed him, but that does indicate that there may not be a simple Investiture threshold that, if passed, makes one immortal. It may depend on the form that the Investiture takes. Still, with Stormlight healing, I think the KR's Investiture is very suited towards making them immortal, if they did meet the threshold.
  17. Heralds are still immortal, and we have no reason to believe that even Fifth ideal Radiants get invested enough for that. It could be something to do with the nature of the Nahel bond that doesn't allow for immortality that way, but still, no immortality is a big indicator towards Heralds still being more invested than Radiants.
  18. Eof led Bookwyrm and Reasoning into his study, where he sat down at his desk and started rummaging through the drawers. "Reasoning, can you give the sphere to Bookwyrm? He should take a closer look at it." Reasoning did so, handing the strange object to Bookwyrm.
  19. Unintelligible cracks a grin. "See? Told you I'd get us out of there. Just needed to wait until a Narrator made something incomplete near us. The goat will be fine."
  20. "I suppose so. Come inside, and I'll explain more. My family's out on a quest, somewhere very far away where they'll be safe."
  21. Granted. Yelig-nar eats your soul anyways. I wish for access to Yolish Lightweaving.
  22. Inside the building they found Moni, standing before a dagger that had been driven into the ground hilt-deep. The Avatar had her back to them and was staring into empty space, motionless. “Er, yeah. probably.” Curiosity coughed. “Although Reasoning did say that Power might… explode.”
  23. 1. Refining uranium is difficult, yeah, but so is finding Trellium. Unless Trell manages to get another foothold on Scadrial, which I find to be kinda unlikely, we won't have Trellium as something that's easy to get. 2. Yes, it is relatively easy to make a Trellium-Harmonium bomb, but I find it very likely that the exact details will be a government secret. The general populace will not find out for some time, and control over Trellium will make it difficult to experiment like Wax did. Maybe some organized groups will figure it out, but knowledge on Trellium-Harmonium bombs will not easily become widespread. Now don't get me wrong, I do think that Trellium-Harmonium bombs will or could be a problem come era 3. However, I think you're overstating it. Trellium-Harmonium bombs will not be accessible to the average Scadrian. More organized groups might be able to get their hands on one, but police won't have to worry about random drug dealers pulling out city-destroying bombs.
  24. Still, it won't be as common as you're making it out to be.
