  1. Nameless blocked both simultaneously, bending space to his will with gritted teeth. "Maybe you'll see." He shoved the Desolations back and lashed out with a blast of pure narration, purposefully enhancing the corruption to make it impossible to safely absorb.
  2. Nameless looked at his hand, which sparked faintly. "I don't agree. I can keep going for a while yet." He summoned his Narrationblade, which remained stubbornly pure and unwarped despite the corruption of the Nohr-maul blade. Man I have no idea who the shadowed figure guy was that manipulated Cucumber Beard. Maybe it was Foe? I barely remember any of that. Evil Author-killing guy is the voice, and he'll return once things happen. It'll be difficult to stop him.
  3. Nameless knocked the Nohr Maul blade aside with the palm of one hand and allowed Foreshadowing to pass through him harmlessly. "You forget. I'm from the past. What exactly is there to foreshadow? My future's set in stone."
  4. Nameless tilted his head. "Interesting words you keep spewing. I wonder if they mean anything." He leapt forward suddenly, slamming his shoulder into the lead Desolation and spinning to slice the other with his energy-coated Narrationblade.
  5. "I can beat two of you. That connection of yours is interesting, but don't believe for a second that you'll be able to take my power easily. After all, I still have a connection to the power you've taken from me."
  6. "You know, I was already doing that. It was the whole point of me splitting in two." Nameless ran his hand along his Narrationblade and a strange, indeterminable energy covered it. "I think you'll find it a bit harder to disrupt my weapon now."
  7. That works canonically as far as I can tell, although some people might headcanon it otherwise.
  8. Nameless smiled. "Please. At your mercy? I wasn't even trying. And if you think to use me, you're far more foolish than I thought."
  9. His own. "Go ahead. Ask anyone you want. It's true." Nameless raised his Narrationblade in a defensive stance. "So tell me, have we ever met? In present day, that is." The origin doesn't really contradict anything (well maybe it does, but who cares, this is TLT) but it doesn't replace the real origin of TLT. It works fine as an event that happened after the creation of TLT.
  10. The suppression field shattered as Nameless exerted his will. "Come on now, keep track of your opponents. I'll keep them busy while we fight. Oh, and don't rely on being able to steal my narration easily. That's one of the first tricks that anyone ever pulled on me, and I'm pretty good at resisting it." Indeed, Desolation suddenly felt a large amount of Nameless' narration flow back into the narrator. Nameless threw back his head and laughed. "Thaidakar? When has he ever been a threat in a fight? Abomination killed him easily. I once had the Witherlord at my mercy." I'm gonna be off for 10-15 minutes, be back in a bit.
  11. The ninjas, present even here at page 1, laughed secretly from the shadows.
  12. Nameless dissolved into the blade. This caused the second Nameless to look over at Desolation, a hint of surprise on his face. "Well, that was impressive. Wouldn't expect you to be able to do that to a clone of mine." He split in two again, one of the clones appearing in front of Desolation. "Now you have my full attention. Half of it anyways." Nameless' other clone appeared in the way, catching the Plotblade on his own Narrationblade before it could strike Desolation. "I'm afraid I can't let you do that. I think I'll let this guy succeed, if he can beat my clone."
  13. Nameless summoned his Narrationblade again a split moment later, opting to allow Desolation's blade to plunge into his chest, then swing his Narrationblade for the monster's head. "I don't have any weaknesses. And certainly none that something like you could exploit." Nameless wouldn't care even if it were true, which it sort of is.
  14. "What old Nameless? I've never met you in my life." Nameless spun his Narrationblade in a casual arc, not looking at all worried by Desolation's attack. I think Desolation mistook Unintelligible for Nameless when they met shortly after he was first summoned. Nameless died a long time before Desolation was released.
  15. "Rusty? What are you talking about? I'm at the top of my game." Nameless flared with power, and suddenly Desolation found himself splattered against the ground, held in place by a seemingly immovable force.
  16. Nameless immediately stabbed Desolation in the chest with his Narrationblade. "Please. You think Time scares me? I'm not so weak as to fear a mere idea. Time holds no power over me or my narration."
  17. Nameless split in two and walked up to the group. "Everyone's coming back in time, huh? Surprised I'm not here too. Perhaps I knew I'd be here."
  18. Nameless shrugged. "I'm sure my current self will handle it." He glanced at Desolation. "So he's mixed up in all this? New villain, looking for Mordite to help whoever that mysterious boss of his is?"
  19. "Yeah, he should've stayed dead. Hypocritical of him to come back to life, if you ask me."
  20. Nameless glared at Nowhere. "He came back to life again, didn't he?"
  21. "That's not what I was asking. He's currently your friend? As in he's not dead?"
  22. "That's not true at all. I almost killed the Witherlord with a Mordite blade, if you remember. Also, don't you mean were friends? What page are you here from?"
  23. Someone walked up behind Desolation. "Hey Nowhere. Your experiments going well?" He turned to regard Desolation "Who's this new person?"
