    The ex-shovel man manages to get to his feet and walks over to Altair, still missing both his shovel and his arm. “Hey, do you have an extra sword or something?”

    Don't worry, I'd do a great job of completely changing Darkness's motivations, personality, and powers to fit better with my ideas about what he should be staying true to your vision.

    "Oh, good. in that case, you are pardoned of your past crimes. You hear that followers? He has been forgiven for the disrespect he showed me. Stop hunting him." The Shadowed One leans in close to Abalodor and whispers "You'll want to leave now."

    "So you remember nothing prior to reviving that guy?"

    "Ah yes. So you don't remember meeting me, or my minions, before just earlier?"

    "Oh, there he is. See you later then. And Shadowed One, you can pay me in the method we described." Rep turns around and leaves. The Shadowed One looks slightly annoyed. "Best bounty hunter in the thread? That guy? I guess he is the best at being rude. Anyways, hello again Abalodor. I understand you lost your memories?"

    "Get back in the room. He's waiting for you."

    "I doubt you can annoy her that much. She's used to Platypus annoying her after all." -- "I trust him to give me my payment. Anyways, here we are." Rep dumps Abalodor into a dark room, then slams the door shut and walks away.

    "Are you going to pay me to bother Subversion?" Rep turned back to Abalodor. "I got interrupted before I could finish earlier. Anyways, he said he doesn't want to kill you. And I'm called Rep because it's my name." Rep didn't mention that he said this to everyone he brought in alive, regardless of whether it was true or not.

    Rep shakes his head, then drags Abalodor into the shadows and disappears again.

    Rep looks over his shoulder at Abalodor. "Stop struggling. I told you, this guy just wants to talk to you."

    Butt Venture asked if he could get on with his adventure.

    "Oh, I agree." Rep pressed a few more buttons on the device he held, then nodded put it back into his cloak. "I'll keep an eye out for you. Until we meet again." With that, Rep vanished, leaving Sleeper and Impossible alone with Butt Venture and a bunch of rats and stuff. Abalodor, notably, was nowhere to be seen.

    "Trying to keep me from running away?" Rep shrugged. "You got any tricks for me?"

    "Very little. I wouldn't take a job to kill one of them unless I had to, and I would suggest you do likewise."
