  1. If Hoid currently holds the Dawnshard, I doubt that using a similar method would work for him.
  2. "I was thinking we should go ahead and kill him before he's ready, as I don't want it cutting into me and Platypus's duel."
  3. "No, he quite clearly wants to kill all of us, Darkness included."
  4. "I think so. The weapons the Dreamsmith made for me feel the same way." Subversion, who is the stand-in for Nameless as he's dead, shrugs. "I think it's Xyr. And it's not a prophecy, just an ultimatum. He's going to try and kill us all in forty-two days."
  5. "That's good." Unintelligible pulled out a pistol. "So, how're you liking your weapon from the Dreamsmith?" "How about Kilometers?"
  6. That seems to be what happens. The transformation into sunhearts stops Shades from being born, and the few shades that are created are contained in the Shade containers.
  7. I believe the Thaylen man didn't leave much of a sunheart behind because he didn't have the spiritweb mutations that the Threnodites have.
  8. "I think he should send someone. The Dreamsmith seemed a little concerned that people would forget about him."
  9. "Oh, very interesting. I'll have to see how that works later. But I wasn't planning on killing him with narration. By the way Hacob, have any of your Author's character's gone to see the Dreamsmith yet?"
  10. “He’s not immune to the effects of Narration, I just can’t Narrate his actions or change his personality.”
  11. The necromancer shook his head, closing the portal and opening another one to travel to his real hideout. That had gone better than he had hoped. Soon, centuries of effort would come to fruition. All he had to do was kill that blasted Akladin.
  12. "Goodbye Xiylna." The necromancer watches them leave, expression unreadable.
  13. The necromancer gestures to the portal he opened earlier.
  14. The necromancer glanced at Xiylna, and the chains holding her vanished. "Yes. You should. All of you." "And Sleeper? Your naivete will be very helpful to me."
  15. "I know his name because he the Akladin line is quite famous. He probably knows this, although I believe he thinks his family history is mostly just a story."
  16. "Perhaps he thought you'd recognize it. You should ask him about his family history. You might learn something." Chains of energy wrapped around everyone in the neromancer's lair. "It is time for all of you to leave."
  17. “Kilometers? I could definitely kill him.”
  18. I sneak away before Thaidakar notices the axe in his head.
  19. “He hasn’t told you his name yet?”
  20. “I mean I could kill you I guess. But I don’t want to. — Unintelligible walked up to Falvan. “How’s it going?”
  21. I sneak up behind Thaidakar and swing an axe at his head.
