  4. Hey, this game is open to takers! If you're new, all you have to do is think of a place located within the Cosmere and post clues on this thread so people can try guessing what the place is. If no one guesses correctly, then post the next clue, and so on till you've run out of clues (around 5 clues is the standard)
  5. Gah! I've been doing this for a while now You won, do you have a place in mind?
  6. Slow Regard of Silent Ninja Winners
  7. @PrinceGenocide, let @Adonalsium'sSpren play first before saddling him with clue making It's his first time on the thread!
  8. It's *wins* all the way down
  9. As Karger said, the Threnodites, after being forced to flee their Homeland with the advent of the Evil, settling in the Forests of Hell full of Shades, just developed a culture that had Puritanical names. If you're wondering why Nazh doesn't, seems like he's just embarrassed:
  10. We do tend to inspire awe & terror so it's only natural Come, join us
  11. No prob There's always someone scrolling and willing to answer over here Happy rereads!
  12. If you're up to date on all Cosmere books, then go ahead and read up on the Coppermind. The book that is supposed to talk about the Shards, "Dragonsteel" hasn't been released. It's an upcoming project of Brandon's.

Oh dang. I didn’t actually watch the whole thing through...

  13. Yeah, GN Kenton isn't really fleshed out at all
  14. Am I the only one who liked Kenton? Haha
  15. For polygamy, probably. For western-style nuclear family, it's a matter of convenient storytelling. Herdaz, possibly Teoish & other Arelish influence regions, plantation skaa did have extended families.
  16. Ene is wit
  17. Heh, congrats on getting the theme & thank you for continuing it!
  18. Social capital is a matter of continued existence. If enough people dislike you, you fade from existence. If enough people like you, you get power to impose your worldview on others, not directly but rather via your own super juiced up likes. Basically, the more liked you are, the more powerful your likes. Percentage of time spent sleeping/working/reading/on the internet/etc
  19. If you're on this ship, that means war *fire cannons!*
  20. It's really open-minded of Brandon to showcase religious antagonists and the effects of fundamentalism. Though there are rather a lot of Cosmere antagonists that fall into this category, huh... But we've had that trope subverted too, so I'm not complaining You should visit the Coppermind pages of the Stormlight organizations, they have a list of all members there, @jtburrup
