@Aragorn, my ‘friend’ it was you, one of the first people I was to know whom had knowledge of the cosmere. You may be on a ‘fools quest’ you may be mad as a god-damned returned, but you have my support. In the rare case that you were up against [dead] shardeplate, would a full set of aluminium armor or something alike essentially do the same thing...?

The aluminum itself would protect from the investiture based sharpness. But it can still be cleaved physically if it's thin. The aluminum gives way and ur flesh comes into contact and ur soul gets sliced.If it was thick enough and strong enough to withstand the non magical , physical stress then sure it would work.
The aluminum alloy used in bullets in era 2 would work excellently I suppose.

Something that confuses me, could an allonancer consume metals on Roshar and get alomantic prowess but could a bonded spren travel with their radiant to Scadrial?

At further extents could feecemical power not be stored in gems and worn as jewelry? That would be my personal prowess of worldhopping.
If gems could be used as minds could an inquisitors have gem spikes?
We know seekers can hear radiant storm light usage could a keeper not store radiant surges?
(Whatever metal is identity) + nicrosil = radiant surges???

I think it should be possible to hack the system and use gemstones for storing other types of investiture and similarly metalmind for storing stormlight!

May be possible with a metalmind made of godmetal of honor or an alloy of it.
Also a radiant if spiked and granted nicrosil feruchemy might be able to store investiture related to surgebinding

@Ookla the Prolific, I trust you are well. I do such a thing out of curiosity for a better cosmere and out of need for an edge. For with this power I have discovered how to bond spren without oaths. @The traveller, @PrinceGenocide. Might I speak my thoughts. I distrust you both, even with your valid alibies. I will not however, Spite you. My Spren, Path, says that once turned, nothing shall give thy Reconciliation. Alas! this is a letter of notification. I may have found ways of wich to allow path to stay on scadrial out of a gemstone! Recently I have undertaken penetration of a Nicrosil spike. As you can guess this makes me a soulbearer ferring, thus allowing me to use metalminds. I fear I have been bitten by the bug. Scince then I have also had a Bendalloy spike implanted as well as a duraluminium spike. Three now. I fear for Harmonies intervention but so far none has come. Path beleives these are good investments and well worth the struggle as suddenly I am not only A stoneward Hazekiller, But a Conneter, Soulbearer and Subsumer farring. Rust an ruin I am half way through a transforation I feel is horrid, but necessary. Alas I am not dead so this is a thing which i must now consider. *Sigh* The issues of the living... In the note of us worldhopping, A wise man once told me "A thing with no name is a thing that none can say" mind you, this man also said "there is a storming cremling lodged in my lung" so Im not sure if he is an ancient creature of pre-shattering, or a madman. @greeny-231, I must apologise. This worldhopping over and over must be getting on your nerves. Apologies for abandoning you, My past again im afraid. I am currently headed towards sel in hope of finding you there. I accept that this letter might arrive after reaching you but if something were to happen to me I would be more comfortable knowing you could track me. coming from Threnody I am going from Taladin, to Roshar to Nalthis to Sel. I was wondering if you had any in site on acceptable places that someone of my... skills. I can fend for myself on your planet but @greeny-231? Colleagues are debating on weather or not to inva- settling in some of your temples, This is an advanced warning for I do not agree with their choices. Settling in a temple is a bad choice, Unlike me they have not encountered the strength of your monks. I suggest a more subtle approach. So I thought, There's letters right? Between worldhoppers or general cosmere aware people so, why not have a postal service? I basically made this topic to see some of your (17Sharders) thoughts on what you would be like in the cosmere and what some of you would send to each other or, characters in the cosmere. In short, Have some fun! send some replies in letter forms and why not give some responses? make our own little RPG fourm in the cosmere thingo. (Sorry lost what i was sayin' there) For example Dear @The traveller, Hope you are enjoying the rose empire! sorry for leaving you without warning you of my departure! I had something from... my past... come up. However I should be able to rejoin you in a few weeks, best of luck with your new life in the Rose empire, I would take care for those jaddeth priests, all i can say is they corrupt all continents of Sel.
