  1. Would he be able to soul cast god metals though. Imagine soul casting a bunch of atium.
  2. Radio-wave spren and electrical spren caught in matching gemstones. To create Roshar's very first internet.
  3. Given that all the hearlds seem to have gone insane because of the abandonment of their own oaths and that their insanity seems to relate to their order. I believe that Ishar's insanity being the patron saint of bondsmiths, is causing him to work against the radiant's. Also Nale's loyalty to Ishar (which Szeth seems to mirror with Dalinar), blinds him to not seeing Ishar's insanity.
  4. "Divided God we fall, United God we stand" or "Turns out we weren't better at being God"
  5. Lopen's third Ideal: "I will protect even those who do not like pancakes"
  6. Shallan's character was nauseating until part 4 of Oathbringer. Though I think that's intentional, so we get a glimpse of just how unstable she is.
  7. That's a very good catch.
  8. I said smackdown not annihilated into oblivion. Those stone cold stunners are deadly.
  9. So I am currently reading through Oathbringer again and just got past the part with the King and all I can think is This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules Moash. Which makes me think about who should be the one to give Moash a beat down. So here are my picks: Moash vs. Kaladin This would be the most obvious root to go. The fight would probably go along the lines of Kaladin coming to accept that he may have to kill someone that he loves and sees as a close friend. Moash vs. Adolin I think Adolin is slowly becoming Kaladin's closest friend and filling in the role that Moash originally was in. This could turn out to be a pretty awesome fight, especially if its a duel of some sort. Moash vs. Taln Moash is sent on a mission to kill another herald. Except its against the guy who held of a desolation himself for 4000 years. If anyone is able to hand out a complete beat down on Moash it would be Taln. Moash vs. Rock Though Rock will have to go through some considerable growth first, which would allow him to fight. I always get the feeling that Rock is an incredible warrior and could easily go toe to toe with the best warriors. Moash vs. Bridge 4 Moash receives a group beat down from bridge 4. He didnt only betray Kaladin, he betrayed all of Bridge 4. Moash vs. Hoid This one is more for fun, but we all sore what happened when Kelsier tried to fight Hoid.
  10. I would love to see a scene where Moash goes to try to kill Taln. But is outmatched in every way and has to retreat or is killed. (Cause This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules Moash, just read the Elhokar scene again)
  11. I think in case of some of the skybreakers they have had trouble picking what is right, so instead of choosing what is right and wrong for themselves. They choose to go to an outside source and follow it to the absolute without question. This way they absolve themselves of responsibility, even if the law is wrong. Now my own theory on this is that not every skybreaker is that way and that a possible fifth ideal is about accepting responsibility and knowing when to not follow the law to a tee. I also like to have a little fun with skybreakers and think of what could be the most silly law for them to swear an oath to. Like a skybreaker who swears an oath to traffic law and brings down wrath on j-walkers.
  12. Dalinar finishes the first draft of Oathbringer. He only started writing it at the end of the last book right? Or Dalinar went to multiple book signings.
  13. The whole Son Of Tanavast line always makes me speculate a lot. Like is there more to Lirin than meets the eye.
  14. I don't think any of the people's (heralds included) are meant to be 1 to 1 with any of the ethnicities on Earth. Rather they are a mash up of multiple ethnicities. Take the Alethi for example, while I envision them looking somewhat Polynesian (but with mixed traits from other ethnicities), their culture reminds me of medieval vikings or the Shin who look kinda of like Caucasians but I envision them with a Tibetan culture.
  15. Stonewarden given their ability to reshape stone I could then pretend to be an earth bender.
  16. One of the radiant's getting their armour in a moment of crisis and then somehow black sabbath's "I am Ironman" song starts playing.
  17. Dadinar's school for wayward youths
  18. 1. Hoid 2. Wayne 3. Melaan 4. TenSoon 5. Dalinar 6. Kaladin 7. Rock 8. Lopen 9. Syl 10. Adolin
  19. An old song by Eskimo Jo that got lots of radio play when it first came out. I thought the song said "I cant remember the point I fingered" when it really says "All of us stand and point our fingers"
  20. A scene where Lirin and Jasnah play Angel/Devil on the shoulder for Kaladin, making him crazy.
  21. Best POV is Kaladin because of the Bridge 4 ensemble that goes with most of his POV's
  22. I really like the idea of a mixed flashback, it could be a good way to show us how both Eshonai and Venli were viewing the same events.
  23. Maybe it will role back around to Galivar having noble intentions. Maybe he already knew about the breaking of the oathpact and was trying to arrange for the forming of a new oathpact.
  24. I would like to see Jasnah more involved in the story and interact with characters she has not had much interaction with. So seeing her in the same team as Kaladin would be fun. Also I think the trio from the last book needs to be broken up for this next book.
