    Why would Odium want an old nobody from back country Vedanar who can barely fight? Dalinar was so heavily influenced all attempts to see the future showed him falling, except maybe for Cultivation. And yet he chose differently, once again proving that the unmade cannot take free will.

    Once again please refrain from ad Hominim Maybe the fact that Odium said that he had been specifically preparing Dalinar for years? Or the entirety of Oathbringer? Or the fact that he once felt it so severly couldn't see? Or the fact that as a result he was able to summon a pseudo-blade despite the Stormfather's wish? Take your pick Dalinar is the only charater to be shown to be this severly affected. Dalinar makes it clear he had free will.

    Where was Lin's redemption? Bingo I have given you an actual explination, I doubt Lin was as influenced as Dalinar because Dalinar was the most influenced charater we have ever seen, and yet even then Dalinar still had free will. So if you have free will, and are mentally capable of understanding your actions, you are responsible for them. Having good motivation, or doing some good does not absolve a person from being evil, only a sincere change of heart, and repentance can do that.

    Oh definatly, Most likely Chemorish, though Dia-gonalthis isn't impossible, as opposed to Nergaoul. I won't say that's impossible, but I doubt it. That's possible, but we have no way to say for sure, until Brandon weighs in, so I'm going to agree with Dalinar.

    And what does that prove? So it still his decision and Shallan changes nothing. Killing an innocent is wrong, it doesn't matter why you did it, if you know they were innocent and you killed them, you are evil. The why is irrelivent. Yes. If you knew they were there when you swerved then yes, if you didn't, no. People can influence you, but you bear responsibility. Always. And please refrain from Ad Hominim. One good deed a decade ago does not make up for a decade of horrible atrocities.

    Given the hundreds of possible examples you could be drawing from you are being too vauge for me to make any sort of judgement here. Explain to me using Cosmere terminology how Shallan did that. Why not? Was he mentally incabable of understanding? No. Lin made choices, he is responsible for them.

    Is this a discussion about them? He did not choose to abuse his children there. He did not choose to kill his second wife there. He did not choose to attempt to assassinate his eldest son there. If she didn't force him your point doesn't convince me of anything.

    I don't care what the movies show. After the night of her mother's attack, her bond with Testiment was severed, so she couldn't have made Lin act the way he did afterwards.

    Do you really believe that Shallan has passive mind control abilities? He made his choices, Shallan didn't make him do it, they were his decisions, he gets the consequences.

    Stability has other enhancements, I wouldn't say either are better, hemalurgy has too many downsides for that.

    There are 16 hemalurgic metals. And 16 is important for the entire cosmere. I really think you are looking too far into that. As stated before the Rosharan system has ten gas giants, and they predate Honor and Cultivation

    The blessing of presence gives you mental awreness, so long periods of time will not condence, you will still be contious. The blessing of stability is emotional inteligence, so powerful emotion won't overcome you the way it would fro someone with the blessing of presence.

    Yeah proabably something I should get better at lol What makes you say Ruin is one? Or Preservation 16? The Rosharan system was ten centric before Honor and Cultivation showed up, which can be seen in it's ten gas giants. Additionally Voidbinding has ten levels.
