Well Sak acted oddly around Patji that one time, so it's a possibility. The perpendicularity is vastly more powerful than the Everstorm. The comparison to magnets doesn't really track here, as the functions of the two are radically different. Swearing ideals Connects to the Spiritual realm, but isn't a perpendicularity. Aluminum does not negate, it is immune. And yes metals used by allomancers do become investiture as Vendel tells Wax at the start of TLM. And yes there are very good reasons for Aluminum to not be able to be used as spikes or metalminds, not the least of which is it's inability to be soulcast. The Hemalurgy chart does not list an affect that Aluminum gives to a recipient. It simply says that it removes all powers. All other metals say steal, aluminum is removes.

Whether they can think or not isn't the determining factor. It's power, not intellect that makes the distinction. A weapon that is inordinately powerful could in that sense be a god-weapon. A particle that is inordinately powerful can be called a god-particle. A person who is inordinately powerful could be called a god. Now, I personally do not use the word in that sense, but that's the way that Jasnah uses it.

She said she accepted the word 'god' as a useful description for particularly powerful entities. That isn't a rejection of Atheism anymore than calling nuclear weapons godlike or calling the Higgs boson the god-particle. Both things Atheists IRL do.

That seems a meaningless distinction to me, and we have examples of other investiture being unable to act against Aluminum despite not occurring to the Aluminum. SA When used in Allomancy the power of Preservation tries to force it's way through the aluminum, when aluminum's natural interference plays in it negates that power of Preservation and nothing is gained from it. That aluminum does not become investiture. On Feruchemy, I personally am a part of the camp that believes that you cannot tap aluminumminds and any Identity stored is simply destroyed. Thus the aluminum is not investiture. In Hemalurgy aluminum can break apart the spiritweb but it doesn't become charged unto itself, and no one could benefit from receiving a charged aluminum spike. By this interpretation aluminum interacts with all of the metalic arts in their initial stage, but negates the investiture that the other metals are based around. If that makes any sense.

Me too, it's a shame that Fantasy has walked away from that recently. I do believe that it is on the return however. Well this is certainly an opinion of mine, but I don't see desecration of the dead as an inherently bad thing. The body is just sitting there, and they certainly aren't using it.

Not necessarily. The spikes are univested from the start, they just cut off parts of the spiritweb that serves as the investiture later. In that case(and as is my personal belief) aluminum spikes do not retain a charge they merely once inserted into the spiritweb break it apart.

Depends on exactly how invested he is, and whether he would act like a Fused or a Returned when killed. Personally I think Returned because he has no rebirth mechanism and simply stabbing him enough would do it. If not switch to an aluminum spike and that should do the trick.

This one is easy, mostly. I get a shardblade, ask Hoid where Kelsier is at and then stab him. He doesn't have any powers and TSM showed that even in the future a Shardblade can get you inside just about anywhere.

Well that would explain a lot of the boons, such as being able to change someone's race, or to make people almost spren. That doesn't explain how she could get cloth or gemstones, make someone immune to fatigue, or a few of her other abilities.

In that case I can condense it down to one in either: I wish for the powers of a Fifth Ideal Elsecaller(Because if I'm getting cursed either way I might as well milk it for all its worth) or I wish for an Elsecaller Honorblade Either one will get the job done.

Intriguing mission. Yeah I'm not touching that one. He could one shot my entire bloodline in the time it took me to breathe. Our problem starts with getting inside of Urithiru which is inside a massive crystal shield. Fortunately we have the Nightwatcher on our side. I will ask for two things: The ability to create Elsegates A Shardblade. Ideally I'd just become an Elsecaller, but I'm guessing that's off limits. Now I just teleport inside the Tower, find Navani and cut my way in to kill her. Ideally all of this would be done at 3:45 AM to make sure everyone was asleep. Now what would Retribution do to the Sibling without a Bondsmith? No clue, but I'm Elsecalling off world so I don't have to find out.
