  1. Hello! I am working on a game with a neutral party that I need some help balancing. They were originally a survival-wincon but Stink suggested they could have a goal of not being discovered/scanned instead. In response, Gears thought that was too much RNG. EDIT: "Gears thought that STINK's solution undermined the player's ability to meaningfully contribute to their win-con." Anywhere here is the (very much WIP) doc, advice appreciated https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RbmFDO9KFonreDcBV8vD3bTnhyfaC4o5EaW8iAk-LMo/edit?usp=sharing
  2. Sorry for the change but my RP character will be Daughter of the Prime forest and not Sirrah. Cough @Gears
  3. For anyone who can edit the spreadsheet, I forgot I had a spot reserved when I signed up for my MR game. Could someone please either take me off the earlier spot or remove the last one and put the details of that game up to my earlier spot? Thanks
  4. Captain Merros had had a really, really bad week. She had been called in every single day to arrest someone or investigate some sort of murder or another. That wasn't even counting the trip to first of the sun where a giant dragon had gotten several of her PD members killed. She set her stuff down in her office and let out a deep sigh. At least that string of murders had finally been solved. Just another day in the never ending- What was that? Her wall hadn't looked like that before, had it? Was she seeing things? Merros dismissed it. It had been a long week, she was just probably delusional from all that stress. She began to work on filing that report, but stoped again. She could have sworn that something was... moving? Suddenly the wall rippled, the colors changing to reveal a large, green-blue dragon with forked horns. "It's awfully easy to trick the Silverlight PD" she hissed, and then bit Merros's head off.
  5. I guess I'm going to go with Sirrah. She's a rithmatist (or maybe not one ) who has a particular love for using multi-colored chalk on her chalklings
  6. Anyone have ideas for rithmatist-y names? I endeavor to RP more...
  7. I wanted to give a shout-out to Stink, I really enjoyed your playstyle and it was lots of fun to hang out with you in the dead doc. (:
  8. I knew Quinn but other then that I didn’t suspect in the slightest. Second non-village game and I didn’t even get killed off the first cycle like last time! Progress.
  9. Twas quite a fun game, I think. I have some RP to post once identifies are made public.
  10. Whoo! That was a fun game. Haven't been an Elim many times. (; Very happy to have played with Quinn and Striker, good games y'all. I kept forgetting that Quinn was on our side and honestly read her as village.
  11. I’ve been wanting to play a rithmatist game! I’m in!
  12. Village-y Illwei-Has been extremely helpful, active and very village-y Burnt Spaghetti-How can I not put my Aes Sedai in here James Brafin-Seems to be very involved and is a newer player, so also giving benefit of the doubt Null The unknown order-hasn't been posting a whole lot Breaker-I haven't played with them before, seems to be following whatever gears does Books-? null Devotary-hasn't been super active but thats normal for them Orlock-new to the round, (hey Orlock!) Elim-y Gears-tunneling on Dannex Condensation-just not getting good vibes, Dannex-Two vote manias in a row just don't look good
  13. Ilyanna stood outside the hall's tent, waiting for her Aes Sedai. There was quite a crowd of warders out here, all standing silently. A few of the warders knew that she was female, but they kept it quiet. It would be no use to loose a god warder just because they were a women. They were good people, the other warders. The Aes Sedai began to emerge from the hall and Ilyanna found Burnt in the crowd, coming to her side. "Anything interesting?" she asked quietly as the two of them began to move through the night towards their tent. "Not particularly." Burnt said, although Ilyanna could sense she was hiding something through her warder bond. It was probably just some Aes Sedai nonsense. When she had been younger she had dreamed of being a Aes Sedai, but she didn't have the gift to channel. Burnt had found her though and made her a warder. She appreciated that greatly.
  14. What does slyly mean? Oh. That was a odd autocorrect. It was “no reason why you shouldn’t”
  15. Of course you should kill me! There is absolutely no reason why slyly shouldn’t. As for the reads I’m on mobile rn and playing Minecraft so maybe later
  16. I know but Breakers reasoning seemed to be “Gears is voting Dannex” and Clock hasn’t been up to his usual shenanigans this game.
  17. Sigh I don’t know what to think. On the one hand Quinn is in my village reads, and I really don’t think they are a elim. on the other hand some of Illwei’s points about not voting Dannex make a lot of sense On the third hand I feel like we arnt going to be able to move past the Dannex issue and it’s going to keep being a issue
  18. I think the idea that their must be one village brown and one elim brown falls into the gamblers fallacy of statistics. If roles were proportioned truly randomly and independent of each other, their is a equal chance that both browns are village, regardless of what alignment of the other is. Of course, the roles aren't completely random, but still...
