Okay.... I think that my question has been very misinterpreted. I'm not saying that things like this would/should follow our classification, I was just wondering how the Rosharans would classify things like this. (Or other odd things) I had put it in the questions for Brandon thread, as this is really only a question that he can answer, as no amount of speculation would be able to meaningfully determine what Rosharan beliefs about fungi are.

Sorry, not trying to continue a discussion, but I'm a little bit confused about your objection to the question. Isn't the fact that we don't know how this works a reason to ask it? Would a more general form of the question be better? Something like: How does soulcasting work for things that do not fall under the category of the Ten Essences, such as Fungi?

Fungi does not fit into any of those.

What kind of gemstone would be used to soulcast something into a fungi?

When Brandon said that Nightblood contains some of Ruin's investiture, what did he mean? Doesn't all investiture consumed by him just revert back into raw investiture? EDIT: Also, do other shardblades cut the cognitive aspect too?

So the Immortal wasn't even the one who said it. It was just a guess of Suit, which might just be based on what he knows about the kandra. Although, if they are Sleepless, I would expect there to be bugs mentioned in odd places.

Here are the WoBs I was referring to: So forget my Patji reference--I had forgotten about the above WoB. I took this one to mean that he is more invested than some Shardpools. Hmm... Is it possible that Nightblood does have a perpendicularity and that is why he can destroy on all three realms at once?

1. Nightblood is the most invested thing in the cosmere other than shards 2. A perpendicularity is a result of large amounts of concentrated investiture 3. First of the Sun has a perpendicularity, but is not directly influenced by a shard (not sure how this works with Patji, but it's a WoB) I might be wrong, but what this looks like to me is that Nightblood has more investiture than First of the Sun's Shardpool, and therefore should also have his own perpendicularity. Have we seen this perpendicularity? Is there a reason that it seems to not have a perpendicularity? (Also I would add links to these WoBs, but I can't without more posts)

The fullborn cannot kill Nale, since he can just be reborn.

I've seen a bunch of discussions on things like this, and people pretty much always have decided that the fullborn would win against people from other magic systems. I do agree that the power of a fullborn are ridiculously overpowered with compounding, but against a herald, the balance could change, as the heralds can be reborn. The reason that this wasn't used in their battles was that they had to stay on Braize to prevent the desolation, while in a fight like this, we could say that they would immediately decide to come back. With this distinction, the fullborn would not be able to kill the herald, while someone at the 10th heightening could create a nightblood2.0 that would be able to kill the herald (although it will feed on their breaths during the usage). Since Nale is the only herald who currently has access to surgebinding, I'd say that he's the herald to put in this fight--of course assuming that he has legal permission. I'd also assume, that for the sake of the fight, the three contestants should be aware of each others abilities. So, who would win: Fullborn(with access to all 16 metals and a coin pouch), Nale(who can be reborn and is a 5th Ideal Skybreaker, with access to a pouch or two of stormlight-infused spheres), or Awakener(who is at the 10th heightening and has assorting things with him to awaken)
