    Ok, I’ve edited Desmund. He’s an awakener now as well, and I’ve highlighted all the changes in orange. I’m pretty sure he’s over the limit just a little, but I want to see what his new score is and then balance it out accordingly.

    Ok, so I’ve (finally) thought about my character Desmund a little more, and I think I want to make him an awakener as well as a forger. I have just enough space to give him the first heightening, but I’d really like him to have third if possible. Perfect pitch and perfect color recognition seem like things that would compliment him as a character, however this puts him 15 points over. The obvious solution seems to be taking away some of his skill in combat, or to give him more weaknesses. Any thoughts? Here’s his sheet, if you want to take a look:

    A.C. took a closer look and determined that this was in fact a funeral, TLT style. He saw three ghosts floating by the food tables. After recognizing them he shouted, “Hey Luna! Hey Ene! Hey Salad! How’s it goin’?”

    Narrator A.C. walks in, following the directions on the funeral invitation he was given. However, all he sees is an odd, lengthy exchange between two narrators. I think I took a wrong turn two miles back. He gladly accepts the nachos from X though. edit: the nachos that were offered when I began writing this post...

    Granted, you gain all of superman’s powers. You are them sued for plagiarism, and avoid paying the money only by signing a contract in which you pledge your whole life and soul to the whims of a comic book franchise. I wish that decisions were easy.

    Very solid quote, although I don’t recognize it. And promoting a part of the shard gives good points in my opinion, especially since you have links. I also like the part about the scholars guild. It says something personal about you. overall, I’d say it’s a good 8/10

    What about one of the other Returned? There’s Calmseer, the kind one that Lifesong respected before she died. Or you could do Allmother or Calmseer, two other female Returned. You could also name her after Shashara, who was Vasher’s wife and helped create sentient Awakened objects. She was one of the Five Scholars.

    Mmm personally I’d have to go with boiling. Well, normally I would say that pierogies are above the bounds of fickle human tradition, but I’ve also always said that fruits are closer to a desert. edit: I’ve been ninja’d. *Sees Nameless’ post*. *Gasps*. I will explain. @Nameless, a pierogi is like a dumpling; it’s unleavened dough that is wrapped around some kind of filling (like mashed potatoes), and then cooked in boiling water/oil, or in a frying pan. They are extremely good. You should try one sometime.

    Hmmm. I’ll let you judge how weird they are, but here’s a few: I cannot resist dancing at least a little when any type of music starts playing, I always end up washing my hands at least three times while I get ready for bed, and quite often, probably more than a dozen times a day, I’ll find myself tapping/patting out a random beat. My favorite part has probably been spending so much time with my family. It’s funny to think about how much more we’re together now, despite the fact that we’ve always been in the same home. My least favorite part has probably been not being able to hang out with friends. Me, Truthless, and our other friend just started playing D&D when the quarantine began, which is kind of a bummer. We’re making the best of it, but I look forward to when we can start playing in person. Of course! They’re not my favorite animal or anything, but they are still one of life’s greatest mammals, along with koalas and platypuses. Well the answer is obviously between 5.93 and 7.26, should the rain cloud to sun alignment coincide with any pop culture reference, or a 3 if the alignment results in any type of coruscation. Of course, that’s not taking into account the natural tectonic movement around New Zealand, nor the musical tastes of the unicorn who provided the hoof.

    So, I just really really wanted to make a thread about pierogies. Why you might ask? Because they are delicious. This is where pierogi-loving people can express their thoughts, questions, and concerns regarding this wonderful food. And joy. There cannot be pierogies without joy.

    It’s been a few days, but I hope I’m not too late. Honestly, some of my best memories revolve around the forum games section. I know it’s been said several times already, but it really is the people that makes it so awesome. When I first joined, I was really worried about what people would think about me, but everyone was so welcoming! I’m terrible at keeping up with things, and I probably wouldn’t still be on the shard if it weren’t for all of the great people here. I do love the shard, but it’s because I want to be friends with all of the people here that I stay. I’d say my favorite experience was our little RP battle about twilight, @AonEne. It was probably a walk in the park for you, but that was my first actual RPing ever! I really had a blast .

    Share whatever smell you think is the best! Cinnamon? The Ocean? Freshly-cut grass? Your favorite sweater? It’s up to you! I’ll go first. Say I’m weird if you want, but I think the best smell is when you open a freezer and lean in; that cold, sharp smell that comes out of it is just exhilarating.

    Minecraft is great! Truly one life’s greatest gifts. Also, has anyone here perhaps played the new game Minecraft Dungeons? Nothing can compare to the original Minecraft, but I’ve liked Dungeons a lot so far.
