Question of the Day: Cosmere Only
Aluminum replied to ElendVenture's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Zane was really only in the book to evolve Vin and Elend's relationship. -
oildrenched, because every good book should have a flaming sword
-
Brandons only problem is the fact that he's locked himself into writing too many books. He better not die before the cosmere is finished.

The kandra blessings : Did we get the spikes wrong ?
Aluminum replied to Friendshipspren's topic in Mistborn
I'd read all of Sanderson's work before coming here. I thought alluminum removed all powers. Lerasium steals all powers -
I always assumed that after the events of feverstone keep the other radiants realized that they shouldn't leave their shards with the humans. They broke their oaths in secret caves and hid them away. As for the fact that there were more shards in feverstone keep then there are now. I just think that before humans learned how to bond to blades they lost some. Shardcast did a great episode on this topic

Basically everything in this deck seems overpowered to me but I mostly play older cards so maybe it's just the power creep. I do think Sazed should be a 2/3. Right now his feruchemy feels a little bit weak.

Nice. I really like this. It would be cool to see a scene like this in Renarin's flashbacks.

In BoM suit punches in a code that allows them access to the room with the fake bands. Apparently the password would have been something kelsier would know. Has Brandon revealed what it is?

Has anyone considered Kelsier might not be a Fearuchemist. I believe Feruchemy is not related to the shards so it's possible the southerners might have access to it. Kelsier would have learned how to make the medallions when he ascended. He may have just told them how to make feruchemy anyone can use. Then Kelsier might have passed down his allomancy. Really that's the only way I could see the southerners having allomancy.

Wax: logic doesn’ work on wayne Wayne: I bought a ward against it from a traveling fortune teller. It lets me add two and two and get a pickle. Wayne is the funniest character in the cosmere

Rememberer, F-copper and A-gold

True, true. Though it would be ironic if he died before finishing the cosmere. Considering what he did with the wheel of time

Meh, Immortality is overrated
-
I guess if you were smart enough. It would take a certain amount of skill to predict where objects would move and it really wouldn't work well on creatures. It would be very good though. Probably third most powerful compounding after gold and steel.

but where's the magic pedestal?
-
The one in BoM was Vin's. When did the kandra get that?
-
I was listening to shadows of self again and I remembered that the earing was made from an old inquisitor spike. Do you think it could have granted a very minor power to Wax if he had known?

I would imagine they can. We know Ardents can marry other Ardents so it would make sense they could have kids.

We've seen in the cosmere that most healing works by changing your physical self to more accuratly match your spiritual self. It has also been said that after a person has accepted a wound and learned to work around it magical healing won't work because your spiritual self would have changed. So that brings me to Lopen. In WoR we see him start to regrow his arm and it finishes in OB. But by this point hasn't Lopen accepted his missing arm? Why is he healed?

You could argue the reason he doesn't get far is that he doesn't know what malatium does. Isn't intent very important in Feruchemy.

The idea with this is that yes you could heal yourself 40d4 in a round but after that your useless and can't do anything. But I see your point.

I love D&D and I love SA so recently I decided to try combining them. This is a partially completed class that will hopefully end up having all 10 orders. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DCUT3ozq7kIJdfvZtvPn64MnVy0ABoTRsOaPGp7FO_Y/edit?usp=sharing Enjoy!

The main problem would be at least for lower heightening breath holders that you have to use very simple commands.
