  1. I think it helps that when the lower class revolts, it usually involves a change in government, should they succeed. When the upper class revolts, the government usually doesn't change, power just shifts from one person to the next. Not as intriguing of a story.
  2. I would like to announce that I am replaying Ocarina of Time. Yay!
  3. That's how revolutions usually work. Either the middle or the lower class rise up against the upper class.
  4. I believe that at least in the WoW forums, it's called "Thread Necromancy."
  5. No, he's a leader of the Turkey Revolution. Which they keep putting off, due to fear of the horrors of what will happen to them should they actually revolt.
  6. I would like to announce that I am writing a research essay last minute. YAY WEEK OF THANKSGIVING HOLIDAYS!
  7. I'm sure I heard something about an Allomancer gun fight.
  8. OMG there are Golden Sun fans here. I bet I'm more excited than you, Chaos.
  9. wait...that would mean Chaos is essentially immortal...The implications are terrifying ;D We already knew this. He's the Lord Ruler of the forums.
  10. That's been my plan several nights now. Plans are fragile things, aren't they?
  11. Ah man, when life hits, it hits hard. Now I'm like 10,000 words behind. XD
  12. That was my assumption as well, with the splintering.
  13. The agreement to allow Ruin to eventually destroy everything also did not take place until after they created humans. There was no such agreement when they were creating balanced life.
  14. I just improvise. If it sucks, I'll just edit it next month. Once I can afford to lose words.
  15. So then, why is your name not ssentiW tsriF yloH ehT?

    BioChroma

Also, energy is lost in Hemallurgy. Not only are you killing someone to get power, you're losing some of the energy. That's pretty damnation expensive. On that note, I wonder if something similar happens with the monks of Dahkor.
  17. Also, the WoT wiki has spoilers for at least the prereleased chapters, so if you didn't buy the prologue, didn't read chapters 1 and 8, and didn't listen to chapter 2, you should probably stay away from there.

    BioChroma

The gear would have to be made out of something that was once living. Unless you have a large wealth of breaths and the knowledge on how to Awaken metal.

    BioChroma

If BioChroma were real, I would be very interested in learning the theory behind it. I'm not sure I would use it myself (I don't really know how I feel about breath), but reading a textbook, taking classes... that would be awesome. A paragraph? The explanation that Vasher uses takes up at least 2 pages in the paperback if memory serves. And he as good as admits to leaving stuff out. And he also very freely admits to not knowing everything.
  20. It's a letter from Hoid to Chaos! Chaos, are you an old reptile? And why are you mad at Hoid?
  21. Pretty sure it's the Shards. It would make an entirely different story, and it is definitely the easier of the choices.
  22. The most important detail. Allomancer gunfight. It's finally happening.
  23. I doubt that it would drive him insane. I don't think the shards have voices or anything like that, so it's really more of simply molding to fit your power. Since he has the power of creation, preservation, and ruin, he would likely retain a more human personality in comparison to other shards. Or maybe since he can keep the powers separate, he can switch between personalities? That would be kind of weird.
  24. I recommend "His Majesty's Dragon." First in the Temeraire series. Dragons during the Napoleonic wars !
  25. Congratulations!
